Karpos Live proudly presents St. Vincent Live in Manila

St. Vincent Live in Manila 2025

Are we thinking what everyone’s thinking?

Known for her bold, genre-defying sound, this GRAMMY-winning singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist is set to light up the stage in a way only she can. Adding another dynamic artist to its roster, Karpos Live proudly presents St. Vincent Live in Manila this 2025!

Annie Clark, better known as St. Vincent, made her debut in 2007 with Marry Me and quickly became one of the most innovative and fascinating figures in modern music. Her albums include Actor (2009), Strange Mercy (2011), and her self-titled 2014 release, which won the GRAMMY for Best Alternative Album. In 2017, MASSEDUCTION soared in the U.S. and UK, winning two more GRAMMYs, while 2021’s Daddy’s Home earned her another Best Alternative Album award. Her 2021-2022 global tour established her status as a live music powerhouse, headlining iconic venues like the Hollywood Bowl and Radio City Music Hall.

Her rise showed no signs of stopping as her first fully self-produced album, All Born Screaming, reveals St. Vincent at her most primal. The album blends spiritual desolation with rapturous acceptance. ‘If you’re born screaming, that’s a great sign,’ says Clark, “because it means you’re breathing. You’re alive. My god. It’s joyous. And then it’s also a protest. We’re all born in protest in a certain way. It’s terrifying to be alive, it’s ecstatic to be alive. It’s everything.”

Get set for another damn good time celebrating life, art, and sound!

Don’t miss your chance to experience St. Vincent’s electrifying Manila debut at Karpos Live on January 8, 2025, at the Filinvest Tent, Alabang!

Snoh Aalegra is finally ‘here now’ in Manila this May

Snoh Aalegra Live in Manila 2024

Karpos Live welcomes yet another electrifying artist to its 2024 roster, and this time, they’re bringing Iranian Swedish-born, Los Angeles-based artist, Snoh Aalegra.

“Golden toned,” “jazz-infused,” and “expansive and dreamy” were the exact phrases Pitchfork used to describe multi-GRAMMY nominated and Swedish Grammis winner Snoh Aalegra for her overall music style, as well as her captivating vocals on her latest album TEMPORARY HIGHS IN THE VIOLET SKIES (2021).

However, her being stringed to a musical legend does not end there. Three years before he passed, Prince, who needs no introduction, took her under his wing to help her cultivate the sound that she proudly shares with her fans now. Alongside Prince, some of her influences include Whitney Houston, Lauryn Hill, Mariah Carey, and so many more, and these inspirations seep through her work with songs like ‘I Want You Around” that encapsulates the main energy of her musical image; “Be My Summer” which can only be described as the orange skies of an early summer sunset; and “Nothing Burns Like The Cold” that will have you off your feet just by hearing the bouncy intro.

Get in your feels this summer as Karpos Live Presents: SNOH AALEGRA. Set to happen this coming May 30 at the Filinvest Tent, Alabang.

  • A Superpower Space: Daniel Caesar Concert

A Superpower Space: Daniel Caesar Concert

Canadian soul-R&B-jazz fusion artist Daniel Caesar makes an exciting return to the country with a successful concert held last July 19. This comes after the enormous success of his prior two shows, his Manila debut as part of the Wanderland Music & Arts Festival, and his first Manila solo headline show in 2019. He returned to Karpos stage to promote the release of his third studio album, Never Enough. The Best Part singer/songwriter brought his SUPERPOWERS tour to the World Trade Center.

Fans are even lucky to have an extra-special treat as Jason Dhakal, [“Manila,” “Body & Soul,”] opened the show for everyone.

As for the moment we all have been waiting for, the Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter popped up in front of everyone holding a camera trying to film may all our excitement. To see him stood there are finally hearing the songs the crowd love is sonically fitting for the mood.

As the show began with” Ocho Rios” Daniel cracked a joke in front of his adoring throngs, saying, “You guys are “shockingly” silent.” How are you all doing? “You guys are surprisingly quiet today; it’s kind of strange; last time, pre-COVID, you guys had more strength,” Daniel teased in front of his hollering fans.

Getting his crowd amped, Daniel sang his songs “Let Me Go,” “Entropy,” “Do You Like Me?” “Open Up,” “Valentina,” and “Always.” To which his fans turned the venue into a massive karaoke lounge and sang their hearts out with all of their feelings. Daniel even appreciated the whole thing, saying, “That’s my favorite part of going here. Because all of you sing like crazy.”

He also performed his crowd favorites “Violet,” “Best Part,” and Invincible,” delivered an encore performance of “Japanese Denim,” Are You Okay,” “Sparks,” and wrapped up the night with “Get You,” a certified classic.

After his four-year hiatus, Daniel proved that he still has the Superpower to move people through his craftmanship and have their hearts sing in a loop. We can’t wait to have more of him and listen to his songs on repeat. Thank you Karpos Media for bringing him back!

  • pH-1 announces Manila leg of ‘About Damn Time’ Asia tour

pH-1 announces Manila leg of ‘About Damn Time’ Asia tour

K-Hip Hop artist pH-1 is making his Philippine debut on May 3, 2023 at The Filinvest Tent, Alabang.

Karpos Live is bringing pH-1’s About Damn Time Asia tour to Manila following the previously
announced dates in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Bangkok, and Hong Kong.

Park Jun-won, more famously known as pH-1, is a South Korean rapper who has made waves
in the Korean hip-hop scene since 2016 with his debut single, “Wavy”.

His interest in hip-hop and rap was heavily influenced by his childhood growing up in New York,
where he said that all the kids listened to Eminem, 50 Cent and Jay-Z. It was only natural that
this ignited his passion to pursue a career in music that eventually, after consistent uploads to
SoundCloud, caught the attention of Korean global superstar, Jay Park–founder of H1GHR
MUSIC, an international hip-hop and R&B label.

Since signing to the label, he has released two albums, Halo in 2019 and BUT FOR NOW
LEAVE ME ALONE in 2022. His discography features notable collaborations with Jay Park,
Mokyo, Owen, and more recently, American R&B singer-songwriter, UMI.

If his collaborations are a testament to his songwriting prowess, his live shows speak volumes to
    him being a natural-born performer.

You get to experience the whole spectrum at a pH-1 show—from slow and laid-back beats to
picking up the tempo for his more upbeat and high intensity songs.

His energy doesn’t falter and neither will yours with his ability to command the stage and
engage with the audience. Whether you’re a new listener or a long-time fan, it’s easy to go all in
and have a damn good K-Hip Hop show when it’s pH-1’s. If there’s one you should go to, it’s this
    one.
