    The weekend was fun and badster for SONEs in the Philippines as they get treated the best weekend party in the Metro last February 8 at the House Manila, where Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon fired up the stage as DJ Hyo in her exclusive DJ set.

    The “Badster” artist put a thrilling spin to her hits and classic songs of her group, putting attendees in the hype and utmost energy. Opening the show for her are DJ Angelo G., singer-songwriter Lox, and DJ Nix Damn P. — three artists who kept the energy high and the crowd in the mood with their stages.

    And because we know you can’t get enough of that fun and nostalgic party at the House Manila, here are some highlights (and photos) from DJ Hyo’s exclusive DJ set.

    Welcoming Hyoyeon Back In Manila

    Five years in the making, Hyoyeon finally comes back to Manila to meet her fans and party the night away as the main DJ for the night. Her group, Girls’ Generation, last visited the Philippines back in 2015 as part of the line up for Best of Best in the Philippines, together with BtoB, Red Velvet, and Super Junior. DJ Hyo also made her debut in the Philippine stage in 2019 in Cebu.

    This year, it was Manila’s time to bask in the awesomeness of the talented performer as she makes her appearance as DJ Hyo at the House Manila last February 8. She got everyone up their feet with her songs “Sober”, “Punk Right Now”, and “Badster”.

    Feeling The Nostalgia With Girls’ Generation Hits

    SONEs at the venue were perhaps feeling all sorts of emotions when DJ Hyo played Girls’ Generation’s greatest hits such as “Gee” and “The Boys”. People at the venue were grooving to the beat of the remix and singing along to the songs, bringing, not only fun but nostalgia. SONEs also turned House Manila into a concert venue by lighting up the scene with their lightsticks.

    Partying The Night Away With DJ Hyo And SONEs

    We really felt the yearning of fans to see their favorite girl back in the Philippines. Although coming alone, SONEs did not hold back in making sure Hyoyeon feel all the love and support and has the best night. The party was also intimate, giving room for DJ Hyo to interact and meet her fans up close.

    DJ Hyo’s exclusive DJ set at the House Manila was a testament of the immense talents of Hyoyeon whom we first loved as Girls’ Generation’s dancing machine. More than a decade into her career, Hyoyeon continues to transform and tap on her capabilities, treating fans to new sides of herself every time. Still, we also witnessed how rooted she is on her roots and how she never forgets the group she came from.

    Hyoyeon first made her mark in K-Pop in 2007 when she debuted as the main dancer of one of South Korea’s most successful and most influential girl group of all time, Girls’ Generation.

    Fast forward to nine years, the idol who impressed everyone with her every move has transformed herself and began carving a name for herself as a solo artist through the release of her song “Mystery” in 2016. The song was well-received, giving the multi-talented performer the motivation to return with another power track titled “Wannabe”.

    But Hyoyeon did not stop there. She went on to reinvent herself and show another side of herself as DJ Hyo through the track “SOBER” which came out in April 2018. Most recently, she released another hard-hitting track “BADSTER” in two versions — Korean and English — and announced that she will actively promote as a DJ domestically and internationally.

    Switching from being the main dancer of her successful group Girls’ Generation to being a sought for club DJ, DJ Hyo has been dominating the club show scene with her remarkable DJ sets and remixes of her group’s hit songs.

    With her debut to the club show scene she has been performing in the hottest clubs and biggest music festivals. Mentioning some of the places that she has performed, Macao, Malaysia, Taipei, Japan (Fukuoka, Sapporo, Shinjuku), Taipei, Philippines (Cebu), and her most recent festival, the Legacy Festival in Singapore Sentosa Siloso Beach.

    During her debut as a DJ, she already been added to the top 100 best DJANE in Asia, with her placing on the third spot with other famous DJs and 55th spot on the 100 best DJANE in the world.

    She has made a name for herself in the world of DJs and has already collaborated with the famous DJ 3LAU for her song “PUNK RIGHT NOW”. During the release her song “PUNK RIGHT NOW”, it took the #1 spot in many countries and #47 in the whole world, while during the release of her song “BADSTER”, it also took the #1 spot, which made her a powerhouse in the club show scene.
