The Grind Finally Hit: Delinquent Society Drops “Gumagana Na”!

After a decade of hard work, Delinquent Society returns with “Gumagana Na,” a song that celebrates perseverance, loyalty, and the rewards of staying true to the journey. Marking a milestone the group once only dreamed of, the single reflects on how years of dedication have finally begun to bear fruit.

After years of grinding, Delinquent Society is now seeing the results of their commitment through sold-out performances, brand partnerships, and growing opportunities. What makes this chapter especially meaningful is that they continue to create music alongside the same people who have been with them since the beginning.

The group still works closely with DJ Ross Fuego, longtime friend and producer Delae, Burbankz, Murphy, and producer Wudz, proving that success is even more fulfilling when it is shared with the people who helped build it from day one.

The inspiration behind “Gumagana Na” came during a studio session while searching for samples and ideas. Instead, the group rediscovered an old voice note from their Uncle Ricky. The recording immediately resonated with everyone and became the emotional foundation of the song, appearing in the introduction and woven throughout the track as a reminder of where they came from and everything they have overcome.

With the voice note as the starting point, producer Wudz built the beat around it, allowing the record to come together organically. The result is a deeply personal anthem about trusting the process, staying loyal to your team, and recognizing the moment when years of sacrifice finally begin to pay off.

More than a celebration of success, “Gumagana Na” is a tribute to ten years of friendship, resilience, and the belief that consistent hard work creates opportunity. It serves as a reminder that while reaching your goals is important, the people who stand beside you throughout the journey are what make the destination truly meaningful.

    [Intro: Uncle Ricky]
If you have money, you have power
If you have power, you have everything!
    Kasabot ka!?

    Wudz
    Okay!

    [Verse 1: Contemplate]
Focus lang sa goal yan ang aking mission
Kuha lang ng money tapos hati sa commision
Tutok sa scope papunta don na direction
Iba aming swag ice cold hagip attensyon
Iba na kami (kami?) Kami, pumepera na!
    Kayo’y tumabi wala silang magagawa
Ayaw niyo samin noon, ngayon may connection
Iba na ang moves papunta sa top don kami diretso
    8K, puputok na parang AK
Di mo mapigilan aming wave lakas na lately
Rami ng nagbago pwede na bilhin lahat ng luho
Iba talaga basta galaw natin planado

    [Hook: Aud]
    Whole crew homies gang
    Pumepera na
    Sakin to, sakanya, eto kanila
Same parin yung ikot walang nag iba
Dating mga plano nowadays gumagana na

    [Verse 2: Aud]

Kung wala ng alak yung bote mo bili ka lang
I got the stacks and the bread parang bakery lang
I got packs unli cigarettes smoke for your lungs
Kagagaling lang ng baby ko sa beauty salon
‘Se di na tulad to ng dati
Pano to nangyare? Para bang yung bulsa namin bigla nalang na lumalim
Lalong lumala nung buhay tinaya (woop!)
Among gidala ang pagka Bisaya (woop!)
Libo libo na galing sa tula (woop!)
Tiga southside gikan sa baba (woop!)
Tiga southside gikan sa baba (woop!)
Tiga southside gikan sa baba (woop!)

    [Hook: Aud & Fusr]
    Whole crew, homies, gang
Pumepera na (Get your money up)
Sakin to, sakanya, eto kanila (Not your funny up)
Same parin yung ikot walang nag iba
Dating mga plano nowadays gumagana na

    [Verse 3: Fusr]

Mga plano gumagana pag masipag binebless
Ipon ipon stack your bread sa sarili mag invest
I be 5 moves ahead in my head parang chess
Babygirl ko nagagalit “Sino ba laging katext mo?”
Kausap ko si Aud at kausap ko si Ross
    Pinagusapan namin next moves
If you wanna be boss you gotta learn to take a loss
    Pag-hinay hinay lang sa pressure
Everybody sit down you know we do this shit for real
Galawan namin parang Neptunes, batang galing Davao
Respect the past to build the future sabi nga ni Sak Maestro
    Momma look at me now
Umaangat kasama team kinokolekta mga wins
I light the beam like Sacramento

    [Hook: Aud]
    Whole crew homies gang
    Pumepera na
    Sakin to, sakanya, eto kanila
Same parin yung ikot walang nag iba
Dating mga plano nowadays gumagana na

    [Refrain: Fusr]
Lahat ng gusto ko gusto kong makuha
I’d give it all dugo’t pawis tsaka luha
    Sobrang blessed magkapera saming sulat
I’m checking goals tapos bonus na yung moolah

    [Hook: Aud & Uncle Ricky]
    Whole crew homies gang
    Pumepera na (Money)
Sakin to, sakanya, eto kanila (Power)
Same parin yung ikot walang nag iba
Dating mga plano nowadays gumagana na (Everything)

  • Delinquent Society’s “Certified” Is a Statement of Pride, Origins, and Success!

Delinquent Society’s “Certified” Is a Statement of Pride, Origins, and Success!

They came from the streets of Davao. They carried the weight of “8000” , their postal code, their identity, their proof of origin. And now, Delinquent Society is back to remind the world why they don’t need to ask for permission to be recognized. Introducing “Certified,” the follow-up to their chart-climbing hit “8000WABAD.”

Written in a seamless mix of Bisaya, Tagalog, and English, “Certified” doesn’t try to fit into any box. It reflects the reality of the streets, multilingual, raw, and unfiltered. This isn’t manufactured for international appeal. This is how they talk, how they feel, how they live.

“The title isn’t just a flex. It’s a declaration of credibility. If you’re really from here, you don’t need to explain yourself, you’re already certified.” That’s Delinquent Society in their own words. “8000” isn’t just a number, it’s what shaped them and it means everything. It’s not a trend tag or a marketing angle. It’s who they are. It’s where they’re from. It’s their loyalty, their identity, their proof.

Beyond their roots and upbringing, “Certified” also celebrates the group’s rising success. Their previous track “8000WABAD” garnered nearly 700,000 on Spotify alone, while their performance at Bangkok Music City in Thailand brought their music to international audiences. These achievements have propelled Delinquent Society into the spotlight both locally and abroad, and “Certified” stands as a testament to their continued ascent in the music industry.

Despite their growing fame, Delinquent Society remains grounded in their message of authenticity and representation. “Certified isn’t just about Davao,” the artist stated. “It’s for anyone who reps where they’re from with pride. Hood to hood, city to city, if your presence is real, it doesn’t need validation. You already know. And so does everyone else.”

There’s more coming up, stay tuned for the music video of “Certified.” A blend of chaos, humor, and unpredictability mirror the song’s energy, blurring the line between flex and fever dream.  It’s foreign, disorienting, and wild, but the identity stays intact. Wherever they go, they’re still certified.
