GLOBAL FILIPINO ACTS JOIN ELECTRONIC MUSIC’S MAJOR FORCES IN THIS YEAR’S &FRIENDS FESTIVAL!

Manila’s Biggest EDM Festival is Back in 2026 With An All-Star Lineup Featuring Galantis, Porter Robinson, Alan Shirahama, Adventure Club and Multiple Filipino Talents Taking Center Stage

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – &FRIENDS Festival, co-presented by Collective Minds, returns to Okada Manila this June 19 and 20 even bigger and better than before.

Leading this year’s iteration of the premier electronic dance music (EDM) festival in the Philippines are four of electronic music’s most commanding forces, including Galantis and Porter Robinson.

Filipino Excellence on the Global Stage

This year, the Filipino diaspora takes its place in the limelight; with headliners, subheadliners, and supporting acts all showcasing the indelible mark Filipino talent continues to make on the global electronic music community.

Filipino-Japanese Alan Shirahama will serve as one of the headliners at &FRIENDS Festival 2026. The multifaceted entertainer and DJ has built one of the most unique cross-cultural careers in Asian music: both as the leader of GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE, one of Japan’s biggest J-Pop groups, and as a solo DJ on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list. Shirahama was appointed as a Philippines Tourism Ambassador in 2023, making his performance at &FRIENDS Festival one of the most culturally resonant bookings in the festival’s history.

Ian Asher is a Los Angeles-based DJ and producer whose polished blend of future bass and pop-leaning dance music has racked up hundreds of millions of streams and a collaboration with the “Kings of P-Pop” SB19. A familiar face on the international festival circuit, his return to Manila is a homecoming charged with meaning. Seduza is a US-based Filipino-Chinese DJ whose signature cat ears and fearlessly eclectic sets weave through trap, future bass, Jersey club, and house. Having graced stages from Coachella and Head in the Clouds to tours alongside Alesso, Steve Aoki, and Flosstradamus, she has built a distinct world around her brand that resonates as strongly on the dancefloor as it does in digital culture– channeling that influence into curating showcases that champion underground EDM’s next generation. Tye Turner rounds out the group as a Filipino-Australian DJ whose explosive stage presence and impeccable crowd-reading have made him a rising name on lineups across North America and Asia. Together, they represent a generation of Filipino artists no longer on the periphery of global dance music – they are at its center.

Other Filipinos added to the main stage are Marc Marasigan and L.A, together with international acts Ace Ramos, Afinity, Ami Mura, Arthur Tan, FAZAD, J, NGHTSHIFT b2b Jaidee b2b Dreamdriver — bringing the two-night Main Stage program to its final, stacked form.

With no shortage of Filipino talent standing at the helm, the 2026 &FRIENDS Festival is shaping up to be as much a celebration of the Philippines and its people as it is a jam-packed weekend of non-stop raving and electronic music appreciation.

Alongside the festival’s celebration of Filipino talent is a massive international roster flying into Manila from across the globe. New additions to the international line-up include headliner Adventure Club, the Grammy-nominated Canadian duo of Christian Srigley and Leighton James, whose remix of “Crave You” helped shape the sound of melodic dubstep and launched a career spanning mainstages at EDC, Ultra, and Bonnaroo– their &FRIENDS set marks their Philippines debut. Also making his first PH show is Aiobahn, a South Korean producer based between Seoul and Tokyo whose fusion of anime-inspired melodies, future bass, and hard-hitting production has earned him a devoted cult following via Monstercat and standout tracks like “INTERNET YAMERO.”Not to be forgotten are the other previously announced headliners of the festival, who are some of the most famous, enduring names in electronic music today.

Night 1 – Porter Robinson and Subtronics:
Porter Robinson, a fan favorite in the Philippines, returns to Manila fresh off his biggest-ever international tour for SMILE ! :D. The Grammy-nominated artist’s influence on EDM stretches back to his 2014 debut Worlds, which topped Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums. Joining him is Subtronics, the bass music titan behind the FIBONACCI album and Cyclops Recordings, who made his Coachella debut in April 2026 and in 2023 was named the highest-selling North American electronic touring act by Pollstar and DJ Mag North America’s DJ of the Year.

Night 2 – Galantis and Yellow Claw:
Closing out the weekend are two acts that have shaped electronic music over the last two decades. Galantis, led by Swedish hitmaker Christian “Bloodshy” Karlsson, boasts 7.3 billion streams, anthems like “Runaway (U & I)” and “No Money,” and a Grammy-winning co-write on Britney Spears’ “Toxic.” Yellow Claw, the Dutch duo of Jim Taihuttu and Nils Rondhuis, match that pedigree with over a billion plays and a genre-defying catalog spanning trap, dubstep, hardstyle, and moombahton — arriving fresh off their fifth album, Jesus Loves Trap Music, released on their own Barong Family label in February 2026.

Across three stages, two nights, and more than 60 artists, &FRIENDS festival continues to deliver on its founding promise: world-class production, a carefully curated mix of global headliners and regional talent, and the kind of unforgettable, communal energy that has made it the defining electronic music event in the Philippines.

Besides the Main Stage, the Club Stage is where the festival bleeds into something rawer, deeper, and more unpredictable. Running deep into the early morning hours, it is the beating underground heart of &FRIENDS. Bandit, BENCH, Buns b2b Senza, Honey Gee, Ian Sndrz, James Landino b2b Kino, Jecht, KDH, Kluster Flux, MARGACHI, NOTDEADYET, Sseda, Sunday Sundae, Xenith, bring a combined depth of sound and scene credibility that will keep the dancefloor locked in from first set to last light.

New for 2026, the Friendship Stage introduces a series of label and collective takeovers representing the best of Asia’s EDM community. Orange Juice Asia x Planet Workshop is set to open Day One with a joint takeover, followed by sets from CLOUDNYT, RAW and Restored Bass. Day Two sees takeovers from Hidden Nights, Contrast, and Sweet & Sour, and Midnight Rebels — each crew bringing its own curated roster of back-to-back and face-to-face DJ sets that embody the collaborative spirit at the core of the &FRIENDS brand. It is a stage built on community, and a reminder that the best music often comes from the people closest to the dancefloor.

Tickets for &FRIENDS Festival may be purchased on Ticketmelon and AirAsia’s MoveTix. Single Day passes are available at Php 5,800 for General Admission and at Php 9,800 for VIP. Two-Day passes are available at Php 9,000 for General Admission and Php 15,000 for VIP. Barkada Bundles for groups of five people are available at Php 23,200 for General Admission and Php 36,000 for VIP.

  • 6 Things We Learned About Park Seo Jun That Made Us Love Him More

6 Things We Learned About Park Seo Jun That Made Us Love Him More

When lifestyle and clothing brand BENCH announced the inclusion of South Korean actor Park Seo Jun in its lineup of #GlobalBENCHsetter this year, Korean drama fans all over the country were already keeping their fingers crossed that the leading lifestyle and clothing brand will bring to the archipelago the Divine Fury actor.

And when BENCH finally confirmed that, indeed, South Korea’s romantic-comedy king is finally making his way to the Philippines, his fans were more than ready to welcome him with warmth and passion for a memorable one-night-only fan meeting at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on September 29. It was a sold-out night — filled with laughter, maybe tears, and kilig vibes.

But before the dashing actor met his adoring fans, members of the local press were fortunate to meet him and know more about him as an actor, fashion icon, #GlobalBENCHsetter, and as a person through a press conference on September 28 at The Peninsula Manila. Clad in a BENCH button-down long sleeve and black pants and partnered with white sneakers, Park Seo Jun was a man of wisdom and humility as he talks about acting, fashion, the Philippines, working with BENCH, and more.

#1 He enjoyed the Philippines (and probably, he will find a way to come back!)

Starting off the interview with a shy introduction and greeting, the Divine Fury actor said he had a good time coming to the Philippines despite his tight schedule. He also mentioned meeting with BENCH’s founder Ben Chan and how he wished he could meet more people in the limited time he has in the country. Moreover, coming to the Philippines makes him think of possible opportunities to come back and do more work here.

#2 He never expected to have a huge fan base in the country (after a sold-out fun meet, Park Seo Jun definitely knows now!)

Despite his evident popularity all over the world, thanks to his charming portrayals of various characters including the well-loved Lee Young Joon from What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?, Park Seo Jun remained grounded. In fact, although he acknowledges the presence of his fan base in the Philippines, he never expected he had a big following until BENCH tapped him to be one of their brand ambassadors.

He is grateful, he said, to be part of the BENCH family that now also includes his fellow South Korean actor Ji Chang Wook, Meteor Garden‘s Dylan Wang, and To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before‘s Noah Centineo, among others. According to him, he appreciates how the lifestyle and clothing brand gives him the opportunity to meet more people overseas.

#3 When it comes to style, it’s BENCH for Park Seo Jun!

On his personal style, Park Seo Jun proudly said “BENCH”. He said the lifestyle and clothing brand, which offers trendy and stylish premium quality products, matches his personal style which goes for comfort first as he is always on a busy schedule and on-the-go. He also shared valuable fashion tips for everyone — be confident, know your body type, and try out various styles.

#4 Every character he plays has a bit of himself.

In case you did not know, Park Seo Jun joined the entertainment industry at the age of 22 through B.A.P’s Bang Yong Guk’s “I Remember” music video in 2011. The same year, he appeared in the film Perfect Game as Chil GooHe then starred in his first television series, Dream High 2, in 2012 as Si Woo.

The actor went on to star in various productions including Shut Up FamilyPots of Gold, and Witch’s Romance. And in 2015, he starred in his breakout roles in the dramas Kill Me, Heal Me and She Was Pretty as Oh Ri On and Ji Sung Joon, respectively. His rise to fame continued with Hwarang: The Poet Warrior YouthFight For My Way, and What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?.

During the press conference, he admitted that every character he plays has a bit of himself. He also shared that, among all the roles he played, he considered his role as Go Dong Man as the most challenging as he had to undergo training for the role as an MMA fighter.

But despite his growing international popularity, Park Seo Jun said he does not have concrete plans for a Hollywood debut. According to him, he thinks his English needs more refinement. However, he admitted that debuting in Hollywood is something on his mind.

#5 He wishes to be simply known as Park Seo Jun.

Although he feels honored to be dubbed as Asia’s Ryan Gosling as he is a fan of the actor, Park Seo Jun said he hopes not to be compared to others or be known as the Asian counterpart of anyone. He then promised to work harder and show better works in the future.

And speaking of “works”, the #GlobalBENCHsetter revealed that he is currently filming a new project where he is set to portray a character from his high school until he reaches 35 years old. He added that he is excited to play such as role and revealed his hope for the character to be a source of comfort to the young people.

#6 He relieves stress through bonding with his friends!

Every Park Seo Jun fans know how strong the bond of the actor with his co-stars, especially from the drama Hwarang. The actors hang out together and show their support for one another (Remember the coffee truck they sent to BTS’s concert in support of V?). According to the actor, he loves hanging out with his friends during his spare time. He considers bonding with his friends as a way to relieve stress.
