The Philippines’ premier stand-up comedian Alex Calleja is set to debut a brand-new comedy special to Filipinos in Australia and Singapore this August and September.
The international tour starts Down Under with “Good Times sa Australia (GTA)” with a pair of shows at the Bunjil Place Theatre on August 29 in Melbourne and the Darling Quarter Theatre on August 30 in Sydney. Calleja will be joined by The Comedy Crew’s Israel Buenaobra, Grease Junio, Dawit Tabonares, and Marlon Cadag.
The group then heads to the Lion City for “Happy 4 All sa Singapore” on September 19 at the Alliance Française Theatre where Calleja will be joined by Buenaobra, Tabonares, Jimberly Villanueva, and Ramon Cabochan.
“Masaya ang international tour na ‘to kasi dito ko ilalabas yung set ko para sa pangatlong Netflix special. Sila ang makaka-buena mano,” Calleja said.
His previous comedy specials, “Tamang Panahon (2025)” and “Past Is Past (2026),” were all recorded during his birthday shows. Both were globally released by Netflix and hit number 1 in the streaming giant’s charts.
Calleja also explains that shows abroad are important to TCC’s advocacy to bring a slice of home to Pinoys overseas, relieving their homesickness and work-related stress through shared laughter.
