The nine-track release unravels openness with riveting sincerity.
Josh Cullen opens up about his old wounds and internal struggles on his debut solo album, Lost & Found—released under Sony Music Entertainment today.
The nine-track release revels in the space of openness and pain, not afraid to tackle themes that are often considered a sign of weakness. Here, the SB19 member shares an unadulterated version of himself as he deals with past traumas in life, recovers from its ruins to find light in an often cruel world, and takes control of his creative agency by telling an inspiring story of resilience and hope.
The acclaimed P-Pop singer-songwriter explains, “This album explores themes of pain and suffering, redemption, and the strength of human resilience, inspired by my inner truth. In Lost and Found, I wrote about the pain that never truly goes away, the trauma that lingers long after we think our wounds have healed, and discovering strength within ourselves.”
Lost & Found, taken as a listening experience, shows Josh Cullen’s songwriting strengths in its unfiltered sense. He doesn’t mince words about the pressures and fakery of the industry, and even in exploring his recollections of childhood, he surmounts the dreadful experience of having to go through the bins all over again, with nothing but a pen as armor. Josh treats vulnerability as a form of refuge: it stings and lingers, but its effect only fuels his spirit as a storyteller.
He points out, “I know what it means to be lost and found. I’ve experienced being lost throughout my life, sometimes trapped between trying to process all these intense emotions while desperately hoping to be found. I hope to connect with my fans and listeners who have been through the same journey or are going through the same.”
Sonically speaking, Lost & Found marks a vital vibe shift from the rap/urban leanings of his pre-album era to a more amorphous musical strain that blends emo, pop-punk, and alt-rock sensibilities with producer-driven hip-hop and R&B influences. Moving towards genre-defiant territory, Josh’s unmistakable chameleonic presence, coupled with his affinity for emotionally captivating lyrics and inescapable hooks, makes Lost & Found a more intriguing but enjoyable effort.
From the hard-hitting, guitar-rock swells of “1999,” where he navigates the harsh realities of life, to the suave electro-pop strums of “See Me,” where he shares the beautiful, glowing feeling of finding happiness in someone else’s love and presence, Lost & Found shimmers with tension and pull, and surprisingly rolls with the effortless transition from one sound to another. Other standouts include the sensual and moody “Lights Out,” which features Mo of P-Pop group Alamat, the ceiling-punching anthem “No Control,” and the acoustic ditty “Honest.”

Josh Cullen’s new album, Lost & Found is out now on all digital music platforms worldwide via Sony Music Entertainment.
The award-winning Filipino band will be performing a three-hour set featuring timeless and obscure songs from their critically-acclaimed, four-album catalog.
Filipino pop-rock band Orange & Lemons is staging a one-night concert to commemorate their 25 years of unforgettable musical journey.
The hitmakers behind the generation-defining anthems “Hanggang Kailan,” “Heaven Knows (This Angel Has Flown)” and “Just A Splendid Love Song” will perform the greatest hits of their career in a three-hour concert happening at the Metrotent Convention Center in Pasig City on October 18, 2024, from 7 p.m. onwards.
Dubbed “Now & Then: Orange & Lemons 25th Anniversary Concert,” the special show serves as an important milestone for the four-piece band as they continue to grace the local music industry with captivating releases and memorable performances, albeit going through lineup changes through the years.
“Reaching this quarter-century milestone feels like a dream come true, and it’s a testament to the incredible community that surrounds us,” shares Clem Castro, the lead vocalist and guitarist of seminal alternative rock outfit, Orange & Lemons. “We normally play short sets on the big stage all over the country, leaving out most of our catalog in favor of more popular ones. For this concert, we want to bring to the big stage and perform live, if not all, a majority of songs from our past 4 albums. The albums defined different eras of our career in the music industry from the beginnings—the shot to commercial success, the psychedelic, and the cultural eras. Expect us to perform and tell our story for over 3 hours!”
As an established indie act who continuously pushes its boundaries from a genuine artistic standpoint, O&L promises to deliver a true concert experience like no other. The Bulacan-based alternative rock outfit considers the full-length concert as a special gift to their legion of supporters, who have been with them through highs and lows, from their beginnings as struggling artists to their well-received reformation.
O&L explains this profound love and respect for their fans in a collective press statement: “The music industry has seen a lot of changes, and being flexible and open to evolving with the times has helped us stay relevant. Our fans have been a cornerstone of our journey. Their support, enthusiasm, and feedback have inspired us to keep pushing boundaries and to stay true to ourselves. We’re always looking to grow and improve, whether it’s through honing our craft, exploring new musical avenues, or learning from our experiences. Building a genuine connection with our audience and staying true to our artistic vision has been key to our lasting presence. It also helped a lot to learn that we have to wear different hats, a business and a creative one that keeps us on check and balanced, staying focused on the bigger picture and not letting obstacles derail our journey. We intend to last as long as we can.”
“NOW AND THEN” 25th Anniversary Concert is produced by Orange & Lemons and Lilystars Records, in cooperation with GNN Entertainment Productions. Tickets are available at https://orangeandlemons.helixpay.ph with the following tiers:

Making her debut on the Philippine concert stage, Tori Kelly finally took center stage at the New Frontier Theater in her Purple Skies World Tour on August 23.
The Grammy Award-winning American singer-songwriter/diva thrilled her fans called Toraays with an enthralling showcase of her new music and old favorites.

As early as the afternoon, long queues were seen outside the theater. Toraays longed for this moment, and they made sure to welcome their beloved star warmly. Many of them have known Tori Kelly from her YouTube cover days as a teenager up to her American Idol stint in 2010. They have steadily followed her career as she released an independent EP Handmade Songs by Tori Kelly in 2012 and her mainstream breakthrough album “Nobody Love” in 2015. Now, with the release of her self-titled album TORI., the 31-year-old diva shines at her brightest as she unleashes a diverse set of songs that showcase her immense growth as an artist.
British singer Maisy Kay glammed up the stage with her colorful dance-pop melodies, a splendid opener for the evening. When Tori Kelly made her way to the stage, loud cheers welcomed her. Starting with “thing u do” and “unbelievable”, she had the crowd singing and dancing along to her melodies.
Tori Kelly is a vocal powerhouse, and watching her perform was mesmerizing. Even with a full live band accompaniment, her stellar vocals stood out as she effortlessly hit all the high notes, her pitch not once faltering. Throughout the show, she had this natural elegance and charisma on stage which made the concert even more captivating.
The Purple Skies setlist featured most of her new music including “diamonds”, “spruce”, “high water” and “shelter”. However, she also took the time to pay homage to the older faves. Armed with only an acoustic guitar and her raw vocals, she asked the crowd for requests of which she played “Dear No One”, “Funny”, “All in My Head”, “Paper Hearts”. It was a nostalgic trip to the past when she performed Frank Ocean’s “Thinkin’ ‘Bout You”.
“This is my first time in Manila, and it definitely won’t be my last. You guys made this little girl’s dream come true,” Tori Kelly told the crowd. She closed the show with “alive if i die” and “missin’ u”.

Steadily surfing the waves of the new breed of K-Pop acts, renowned Korean boy group THE BOYZ met their Filipino The Bs last August 25, 2024, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena for their Manila leg of ZENERATION II Concert Tour.
The 11-membered ensemble, namely Sangyeon, Jacob, Kevin, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Q, New, Juyeon, Eric, Sunwoo, and Haknyeon, were all excited to meet their Filipino fans and receive their warm welcome. Kevin, the lead vocalist, interacted with the Filipino Deobis and even did the infamous “Eyyy!” catchphrase popularized by Nation’s Girl Group, BINI. THE BOYZ also congratulated Paris 2024 Olympics double gold medalist Carlos Yulo during their meant.

Secondhand Serenade returned to Manila for two sold-out concerts last August 29 and 30 at the New Frontier Theater, after such a long time.
Presented by PULP Live World and Skesh Entertainment, the concerts were a reminder of why Secondhand Serenade’s music remains beloved by fans, especially in Manila.
John Vesley, who first gained attention on MySpace in 2005, found global fame with the release of “Fall For You” in 2008. The song, a deeply emotional track, struck a chord with listeners worldwide, but it was in the Philippines that it became an enduring favorite. Manila fans have always been some of Vesley’s most passionate supporters, and their energy was on full display throughout both nights.
The concerts opened with a set from Valentina Ploy, a Thai-Italian artist whose heartfelt lyrics and melodies perfectly introduced the evening. Her performance warmed up the crowd by bringing her unique sound to the Manila audience, setting the stage for what was to come during this exciting night.
As soon as Vesley began his set, the atmosphere in the theater started to rise continuously. Songs like “Maybe” and “Broken” were met with an outpouring of emotion from the audience, who sang along to every word. The pinnacle of the night came with performances of “Your Call” and “Fall For You,” both of which drew an overwhelming response from the crowd, transporting them back to the time when those songs first became part of their lives.
In a special moment, Vesley shared that new music is on the horizon, giving fans something to look forward to. The night ended on a high note with an encore of “Last Song Ever,” leaving the audience with a final, lingering memory of a concert that felt both familiar and fresh.
For those two nights, the New Frontier Theater became a place where old memories were relived, and new ones were created, all to the soundtrack of Secondhand Serenade.
