Theatre Group Asia Announces Philippine music icon Celeste Legaspi as Older Allie in The Notebook, The Musical

Theatre Group Asia proudly announces acclaimed iconic Filipino performer Celeste Legaspi will take on the role of Older Allie in its highly anticipated production of The Notebook, The Musical. A defining figure in Philippine performing arts, Legaspi brings with her not only a storied career, but a lifetime of shaping the very landscape of Filipino music, theater, and cultural advocacy.
Born into a family of artists as the daughter of National Artist for Visual Arts Cesar Legaspi, Legaspi’s creative foundation was established early. She began singing in kindergarten and rose to prominence in 1969 as part of The Ambivalent Crowd before transitioning into a solo career that would redefine the possibilities of Original Pilipino Music.

Her splendid recording career boasts legendary successful albums such as Ako si Celeste and Bagong Plaka, Lumang Kanta that achieved gold and double platinum status, while songs like “Saranggola ni Pepe,” “Tuliro,” “Mamang Sorbetero,” and “Gaano Ko Ikaw Kamahal?” became enduring Filipino classics. These works not only solidified her place in OPM history but helped popularize Filipino songwriting on an international scale.

Parallel to her music career, Legaspi cultivated an extraordinary presence in theater. She appeared in early productions such as Showboat and Oliver! before gaining widespread acclaim through performances at the Cultural Center of the Philippines, where she collaborated with literary giant Rolando Tinio. Her repertoire would come to include seminal works like Manila, Manila, Doon Po Sa Amin, Jesus Christ Superstar, Katy!, Paglipas ng Dilim, North Diversion Road, and Ang Larawan, each contributing to the development of a distinctly Filipino theatrical tradition.

In 1988, alongside longtime collaborator Girlie Rodis, Legaspi co-founded Musical Theater Philippines, a company that became instrumental in producing original Filipino musicals. Through this platform, she helped bring to life works such as KenKoy Loves Rosing, Alikabok, Sino Ka Ba Jose Rizal, Fire Water Woman, and Saranggola ni Pepe, championing narratives rooted in Filipino identity and history.

Her contributions extended into film and television, where she worked with acclaimed directors including Lino Brocka and Ishmael Bernal, and appeared in projects ranging from Santiago and Mamang Sorbetero to contemporary series such as Can’t Buy Me Love. In recent years, she has taken on roles that explore aging and memory, including a critically recognized performance as an elderly woman living with dementia, earning a Best Actress nomination and further demonstrating her range and relevance.

Offstage, Legaspi’s impact is equally profound. She served as founding president of the Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit (OPM), advocating for the rights and recognition of Filipino musicians, and helped establish PHILSTAGE, the country’s alliance of professional performing arts companies. She continues to serve the industry as Vice President of the Performers’ Rights Society of the Philippines, reinforcing her commitment to protecting and uplifting artists.

Her lifetime of achievement has been recognized through numerous accolades: Aliw Awards for Entertainer of the Year and Best Actress, multiple Tinig Awards, the TOWNS Award, the Natatanging Gawad Buhay Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Ryan Cayabyab Award.

TGA Creative and Overall Artistic Director Clint Ramos remarks, “It is our honor to have a Philippine icon play the role of Older Allie. This is a dream casting for us. Ms. Celeste Legaspi is a titan in the musical theater industry and Philippine music in general. She brings gravitas and wisdom to the role; and we can’t wait for the Philippine audience to see another side of this legendary artist. We are so excited to see the evolution of Allie’s character from her younger version with the vulnerable innocence of Sheena Belarmino, her blossoming through the strength and prowess of Morissette, and onto her full unravelling into the masterful insight of Ms. Celeste Legaspi.

In stepping into The Notebook, The Musical, Legaspi embraces both the artistic challenge and emotional depth of the role. She reflects: “The characters in Notebook are interesting. How it shows their growth and learnings. To be able to portray that is a challenge. And as I study the music of older Allie I learn that the music is modern and exacting; at the same time I will need to get to the heart of her. A great challenge. And I love challenges. Accepting challenges has been my motivation through all my years.”

Her portrayal of Older Allie is shaped by personal experience as well. “My family suffered when my mother got sick with Alzheimer’s for 10 years. It was one of the most difficult times in our lives. Although remembering that is painful, it will be my responsibility to honor my mother by bringing understanding and compassion to my role.”

As a pioneer who has witnessed the evolution of Philippine theater firsthand, she reflects on its journey, “I still remember the times when we were more numerous on stage than the audience. A painful but learning time. We, the thespians, would always be even more driven to deliver our best. I have watched many young actors these recent past years and the talent is amazing! It just emphasizes that the Filipino has no equal in creativity and talent in many fields.”

Her advice remains grounded in excellence and responsibility, “My advice would be to always seek for excellence. In whatever role, big or small. The unique feature of theater is that it’s live… every minute is exciting and unpredictable. Thus it is all our responsibility to deliver only our very best, keeping audiences interested and mesmerized. That we can control and realize!”
And at the heart of the story she now helps tell through The Notebook, The Musical, she describes, “What I see is the family. How its strength helps us all; how love as it goes through the ages can remain even stronger and more textured. When we say ‘love story’ it does not remain the same. It transforms and changes. That is the strength of true love.”

With Celeste Legaspi bringing her unparalleled legacy, emotional insight, and lifelong dedication to the craft, TGA’s production promises to be a landmark theatrical event, one that honors both a beloved story and the enduring brilliance of Filipino artistry.

Together with Morissette as Middle Allie and Sheena Belarmino, the casting reflects TGA’s commitment to assembling a multi-generational ensemble capable of capturing the sweeping emotional scope of The Notebook: The Musical. Featuring music and lyrics by Ingrid Michaelson and a Tony Award-nominated book by Bekah Brunstetter, the musical is celebrated for its intimate storytelling and its portrayal of love as it evolves through youth, adulthood, and old age.

  • Ashtine Olviga to Hold First Major Solo Concert “Love Like Ashtine”

Ashtine Olviga to Hold First Major Solo Concert “Love Like Ashtine”

Ashtine Olviga Announces First Solo Concert “Love Like Ashtine” at New Frontier Theater, Alongside New Fragrance and Mini Album

Filipino singer-actress Ashtine Olviga is celebrating a new milestone in her solo career with the announcement of her first major solo concert, Love Like Ashtine, to take place on August 22, 2026, at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.

The big reveal came at a recent press conference, which also doubled as an early birthday celebration for her. Born May 19, the multi-talented artist celebrated the milestone early and updated her on her thriving ventures. Fans will be treated to the unforgettable night of her vocals, flawless moves, and signature all-around artistry that has mesmerized audiences from her P-pop beginnings to her breakout acting roles.

Adding to the celebratory vibe, Ashtine unveiled her new fragrance in partnership with Viva Beauty. Dubbed Dear Ash, the scent captures her essence, soft, radiant, sweet, juicy, and confidently captivating. It’s designed to be versatile and lingering, much like the artist herself.

The singer also teased a mini album to come soon, building excitement following the release of her debut single Love Like U. This project promises to reveal more dimensions of her artistry as she continues to evolve past her group stints with UGG, P-Pop Generation, LITZ, and her recent acting stint in Ang Mutya ng Section E.

When asked about the genres she wants to explore for her mini-album, she revealed that she’s going for pop, dance-pop, ballad-pop, and ballads. She wants to try out different genres and styles.

She also said she looks up to Sabrina Carpenter (who recently headlined Coachella), Taylor Swift, and Olivia Rodrigo. “Uy, bakit hindi ko subukan din magsulat?” she said, saying these artists inspire her to write music.

As a multimedia artist, she shared how she balances her craft as an actress, singer, and performer: “Iba’t iba ang strengths ko sa acting, singing, and dancing. I feel like I still need to improve my singing and dancing. You need to have the willingness to learn and grow, so pag mag perperform ka na, mabibigay mo yung 100%.”

She also said she would like to show her skills in rapping, dancing, and singing and her journey as an artist in her upcoming solo concert.

It’s fair to say Ashtine is still growing as a vocalist, with room to develop her technique, range, and emotional depth, but that very journey is part of what makes her compelling. She’s not pretending to be a finished product; she’s an artist in progress, learning and growing in real time. In an industry where much of the music is concealed behind layers of production, she deserves genuine respect for her willingness to present herself in a raw and unfiltered manner.

But what sets Ashtine apart is her dedication to being authentic. I have seen her perform live on stage many times, and each of those performances highlighted her impressive live vocals; she delivers with raw vocals and her signature sweet tone, without heavy autotune or lip-syncing. She shows up ready to sing live.

Ashtine Olviga is best known for being humble and grounded. While her popularity is on the rise and there is a buzz about her projects, she is refreshingly down-to-earth. She admits she still rides public transport like the MRT, a testament to her genuine connection with her roots and her fans. “Tratuhin ko ng tama at pantay pantay ang mga tao no matter how big or small sila,” she added.

Going to the press conference gave a glimpse into the person behind the performances. Ashtine is one of a kind, a true all-rounder. You can see in everything she does a true warmth, resilience, and love for her craft. In an industry often defined by glitz and glamour, her relatability makes her all the more endearing and inspirational.

Here’s to the artists who keep it real. Ashtine Olviga might still be honing her craft, but her refusal to hide behind autotune or lipsync is something to applaud loudly. She’s not only doing a real performance; she’s also being herself. Keep singing your truth, Ashtine. Your audience is here for the ride, and the best is yet to come.

Love Like Ashtine tickets go on sale on TicketNet beginning May 15, 2026. This concert is expected to be a defining moment for the “Nation’s Mutya,” a celebration of her journey, her music, and the love she shares with her supporters.

Mark your calendars for an evening of pure talent and heartfelt moments with Ashtine Olviga on Aug 22. Whether you love her voice, her acting, her new scent, or just her inspirational presence, you won’t want to miss this event.

  • Hawthorne Heights Proves Emo Never Dies in an Unforgettable Manila Night

Hawthorne Heights Proves Emo Never Dies in an Unforgettable Manila Night

The SM North Skydome was already trembling before a single note was played. Hundreds of Filipino fans, many of them in band tees faded from years of love, armed with voices ready to break, had been waiting for this moment for what felt like a lifetime. When the lights finally dropped, and Hawthorne Heights took the stage, the room didn’t just erupt. It exhaled the way you do when something you’ve needed for a very long time finally arrives.

The Ohio post-hardcore pioneers wasted absolutely no time. Opening with “This Is Who We Are,” the band announced their presence with the kind of conviction that only a group two decades deep into their craft can carry. The Skydome screamed in recognition, every word already written on the lips of the crowd before JT Woodruff even leaned into the mic.

“We Are So Last Year” followed, and the energy in the room doubled, a wall of voices rising to meet the band’s signature interplay of jagged guitars and raw, aching melody. By the time “Language Lessons” rounded out the opening salvo, the tone for the evening had been set in stone: this was not going to be a passive concert experience. This was going to be a communion.

Between songs, Woodruff paused to properly introduce the band to the Manila crowd. Though judging by the reception, no introduction was necessary. But it was what he said next that sent the first real wave of chills through the room. Speaking with the kind of warmth that only comes from someone who genuinely means every word, he reminded everyone why they were all there together.

“We’re only here for one thing only, play non-stop emo throwback!”

The crowd lost it. Because that is, without question, exactly what they got.

If the opening trio was a declaration, the second act of the evening was a full emotional reckoning.

“Pens and Needles” cracked the room wide open, its familiar urgency hitting like muscle memory for a fanbase that grew up on this record. “Saying Sorry” came next, and somewhere in the crowd, someone was definitely crying, and not even trying to hide it. “Dead in the Water” kept the energy coiled tight, while “I Am on Your Side” offered a moment of something almost tender amid the controlled chaos.

The band moved through “Breathing Sequence,” “Light Sleeper,” “Cross Me Off Your List,” and the fan-beloved deep cut “Where Can I Stab Myself in the Ears” with the precision of a group that has never stopped caring about how these songs land, because they know exactly what they mean to the people in the room.

But the emotional crescendo of the set came before “Decembers.” Woodruff stepped back from the noise for a quiet moment and spoke about the song’s meaning, a piece written about his wife, Niki FM, someone who isn’t just a name on a track but the person he has chosen, every day, for over twenty years. With her half a world away while the band was on tour, the weight of that distance was palpable in his voice.

“You guys are the reason we smile,” he told the crowd.

The Skydome held that truth for a second, and then sang every single word of “Decembers” back to him. If there were any dry eyes left in the building before that song started, there certainly weren’t by the end of it.

If the crowd thought the night was winding down, Hawthorne Heights had other plans.

They came back swinging with “Spray Paint It Black,” which jolted the room back to life with gleeful aggression. “Bring You Back” and “Dandelions” followed in quick succession, each one landing like a gift to a crowd that had been waiting years for this very moment. And then came “Niki FM”, the song, the name, the everything, delivered with every ounce of sincerity the band possesses, while the Skydome sang along with the kind of unified voice that makes you genuinely believe in the power of a shared song.

In a moment that stopped the room, the band also unveiled “Like a Cardinal,” a brand new track making its Philippine debut that night. For a crowd steeped in nostalgia, hearing something fresh from Hawthorne Heights felt not like a disruption, but like a promise: that this band isn’t just living in the past. They’re still building something.

Before departing for the final time, Woodruff addressed the crowd one last time, not with fanfare, but with the kind of sincerity that makes you believe every syllable.

“Thank you so much for singing with us! We promise it won’t take us another 20 years to come back.”

And then, as if to make absolutely certain no one was going home without completely emptying their hearts, they closed with “Ohio Is for Lovers.” The band barely had to sing a word. The crowd, already hoarse, already overwhelmed, already exactly where they needed to be, carried it straight to the rafters of the Skydome.

PULP Live World delivered, once again, an event that transcended a simple concert. What happened at SM North Skydome on May 6, 2026, was a reminder, vivid, loud, and deeply felt, that emo was never just a genre. It was always a community. A place for people who feel too much, who need somewhere to put it all.

Hawthorne Heights showed up, played every song as it mattered, spoke to their audience like human beings, and left Manila with the very thing JT Woodruff said they came for: a room full of people who got exactly what they needed.

Twenty years in, and not a step slower. If anything, they’ve only gotten more important.

#BamBini: BINI serenades Sen. Bam Aquino on his birthday

Filipino P-Pop sensation BINI serenaded Senator Bam Aquino with a birthday song when they visited the Senate on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, to receive recognition for their historic stint at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California.

Sen. Bam, who turned a year older on Thursday, May 7, playfully danced as the “Nation’s Girl Group” sang a cheerful birthday greeting.

Afterward, the group joined the plenary session, where they received a parchment copy of Sen. Bam’s Senate Resolution No. 370, which was officially adopted by the Senate in recognition of their achievement.

In his resolution, Sen. Bam lauded BINI for bringing pride and honor to the country and for showcasing Filipino talent and artistry on the global stage during their April 10 and 17, 2026 performances at Coachella, one of the world’s most prestigious and highest-grossing music festivals.

“Sa kauna-unahang pagkakataon, isang Filipino act ang nagtanghal sa isa sa pinakamalaking music festivals sa buong mundo. Masasabi natin na ang tagumpay na ito ay isang Salamin ng galing at talento ng Pilipino sa pandaigdigang entablado,” Sen. Bam said in his sponsorship speech.

“Ang tagumpay ng BINI ay isang panalong dapat ipagdiwang sa gitna ng mga hamon at krisis na kinahaharap ng ating bansa. Sa kanilang pagtatanghal sa Coachella, ipinamalas nila ang ating Filipino Pride sa pamamagitan ng pagsasama ng mga tradisyonal na elemento sa kanilang mga kasuotan, musika, at koreograpiya,” he added.

Sen. Bam emphasized that BINI’s accomplishment on the international stage will serve as an inspiration for many Filipino youth to strive for their dreams.

“Ang kanilang tagumpay ay nagsisilbing inspirasyon sa napakaraming kabataang Pilipino na mangarap at maniwala na kaya rin nilang maabot ang world stage,” he pointed out.

The Senator also said that BINI’s Coachella appearance is not only a victory for the music industry, but also for the entire Philippines.

“Pinatutunayan nito ang lumalaking potensyal ng ating creative economy at ang kakayahan nitong magbigay ng dangal at oportunidad sa ating mga kababayan sa buong mundo,” he stressed, adding that his daughters, Rory and Coco, are certified fans of BINI, whose fandom is called “BLOOM.”

  • Spotify Brings Olivia Rodrigo To FC Barcelona For El Clásico Jersey Takeover!

Spotify Brings Olivia Rodrigo To FC Barcelona For El Clásico Jersey Takeover!

From drivers license to vampire, Filipino fans put the Philippines among Olivia Rodrigo’s top global markets

Spotify is bringing one of music’s most defining voices to the world’s biggest football stage, announcing Grammy award-winning global superstar Olivia Rodrigo as the latest artist to take over the front of the FC Barcelona jersey. For El Clásico on May 10 at Spotify Camp Nou, FC Barcelona players will wear a version of the iconic blaugrana jersey featuring the logo of one of the most celebrated artists of her generation, making her the youngest artist to feature on the jersey in the partnership’s history.

Olivia Rodrigo stands as one of the most acclaimed artists of her time. At just 23, the Grammy Award-winning global superstar has amassed over 55 million monthly listeners on Spotify worldwide, with the Philippines ranking among her top fifteen markets globally. From drivers license to vampire, her music has resonated deeply with Filipino fans since day one. She also has nine songs in the Spotify Billions Club, a milestone she will mark with a Billions Club Live performance in Barcelona.

Four years into its partnership with FC Barcelona, Spotify has built the jersey takeover into one of football’s most anticipated moments, by doing something no partner does. It removes its own logo and hands that space to an artist. El Clásico is back at Spotify Camp Nou for the first time since the renovation and it arrives with an Olivia Rodrigo jersey on the pitch.

Marc Hazan, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Partnerships, Spotify said: “Olivia Rodrigo has built one of the most passionate fan communities in the world, and so has FC Barcelona. Fandom doesn’t have borders and the most powerful thing Spotify can do is bring those worlds together. Putting her most dedicated fans in the room with her on the eve of El Clásico, that’s what this partnership was built for.”

Alongside the jersey, Spotify and FC Barcelona have created a capsule collection with Olivia Rodrigo, bringing together the iconic identity of Barça with Olivia’s own visual world across exclusive apparel and accessories.

Olivia Rodrigo said: “Seeing OR on a FC Barcelona jersey for El Clásico, I don’t even know how to process that. It’s been so fun seeing the jersey come to life and creating a full collection with Spotify and Barca. On top of that, getting to perform for the fans who’ve been listening since day one, in a city like Barcelona, is going to be so special. That’s everything to me. I cannot wait to see them.”

Olivia will be the eighth artist to be featured on the iconic FC Barcelona jersey with Spotify, following previous shirt takeovers with Ed Sheeran, Travis Scott, Coldplay, KAROL G, The Rolling Stones, ROSALÍA, and Drake.

FC Barcelona will also share a special edition of the popular Barça Matchday playlist on Spotify featuring themed songs to motivate the players and fans in the build up to the game, which was curated by Olivia Rodrigo.

Barça’s Olivia Rodrigo collection will include a t-shirt, fleece crew, hoodie, bucket hat, and scarf, as well as travel mug, sticker pack and tote bag. The limited edition collection can be purchased online starting May 1 at 4 PM PHT.

The Olivia Rodrigo logo will feature on the FC Barcelona jersey, which will be worn for the El Clásico match against Real Madrid on May 10. FC Barcelona Femení will be wearing the jersey in their Liga F match against Levante on May 6.

Spotify has also made it personal for Olivia’s most devoted fans in Barcelona, an intimate, invite-only concert on the evening of May 8th. This one-off event will celebrate the fandom unique to Livies and the connected spirit which flows through the community. At an iconic venue in the heart of the city, Spotify is bringing Olivia face to face with her top fans, selected through their listening on Spotify.

  • “Minsan Gig sa Skydome” returns with two distinct nights of Sound and Community on May 8–9

“Minsan Gig sa Skydome” returns with two distinct nights of Sound and Community on May 8–9

Inspired by the Route 196 era, the series reconnects fans with the essence of Filipino live music.

Building on the enduring spirit of the local gig scene, Filipino events production company Minsan Studio continues the tradition of its newly minted series, “Minsan Gig sa Skydome,” this May 2026 for two consecutive nights with a diverse, cross-generational lineup. Titled “Minsan Maingay” (Sometimes Loud) on May 8 and “Minsan Malumanay” (Sometimes Calm) on May 9, the two-part show promises contrasting but complementary live sonic experiences, anchored in three main key points: accessibility, nostalgia, and community.

The “Minsan Gigs Skydome” series was conceived by key figures in the local music scene, including Monty Macalino of Mayonnaise and Jugs Jugueta of the Itchyworms, both ardent collaborators of the production outfit, with a clear objective to reintroduce audiences to the simple, unadulterated joy of watching live gigs again. Drawing inspiration from the resurgence of nostalgia-driven culture, the initiative was adopted by its founder, Jason Conananto reunite artists and audiences of the Route 196 era, while reimagining the experience within the confines of an accessible and inclusive setting.

Veering away from the usual concert formats, “Minsan Gig sa Skydome” takes a more relaxed, free-flowing approach. Attendees are encouraged to engage with the event on their terms, whether by watching full sets, stepping out for a break, bringing food, or simply enjoying the space at their own pace. Its bias toward familiarity and ease mirrors the organic nature of the gig culture it seeks to foster and revive.

According to Conanan, the series of gigs is also guided by Minsan Studio’s commitment to accessibility, both in ticket pricing and venue selection. By staging performances at SM Skydome, perched atop the country’s most prominent mall in Northern Metro Manila, the organizers aim to reach audiences who may not typically visit established gig venues such as bars and smaller music spaces. The addition of air-conditioned comfort, optional seating, and flexible viewing arrangements also expands the appeal, catering to both long-time gig-goers and new listeners alike.

The May edition includes two thoughtfully curated lineups:

    May 8: “Minsan Maingay”

A high-energy event featuring rock-driven and distortion-heavy acts (with the exception of one act) like Sandwich, Mayonnaise, NOBITA, Setsuna, One Click Straight, Chicosci, and Fragments.

    May 9: “Minsan Malumanay”

A more subdued but still fun night, showcasing indie and alternative acts such as The Ridleys, Minaw, The Bloomfields, Jensen & The Flips, Soapdish, El Manu, and Amiel Sol. The show also features a stand-up comedy set by James Caraan.

Both nights embody the evolving identity of the “Minsan Sa Skydome” series not as a conventional concert experience, but as an open, communal space for audience connection. As Conanan puts it, “Hindi ito concert. Gig lang. Enjoy lang.”

  • GLOBAL FILIPINO ACTS JOIN ELECTRONIC MUSIC’S MAJOR FORCES IN THIS YEAR’S &FRIENDS FESTIVAL!

GLOBAL FILIPINO ACTS JOIN ELECTRONIC MUSIC’S MAJOR FORCES IN THIS YEAR’S &FRIENDS FESTIVAL!

Manila’s Biggest EDM Festival is Back in 2026 With An All-Star Lineup Featuring Galantis, Porter Robinson, Alan Shirahama, Adventure Club and Multiple Filipino Talents Taking Center Stage

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – &FRIENDS Festival, co-presented by Collective Minds, returns to Okada Manila this June 19 and 20 even bigger and better than before.

Leading this year’s iteration of the premier electronic dance music (EDM) festival in the Philippines are four of electronic music’s most commanding forces, including Galantis and Porter Robinson.

Filipino Excellence on the Global Stage

This year, the Filipino diaspora takes its place in the limelight; with headliners, subheadliners, and supporting acts all showcasing the indelible mark Filipino talent continues to make on the global electronic music community.

Filipino-Japanese Alan Shirahama will serve as one of the headliners at &FRIENDS Festival 2026. The multifaceted entertainer and DJ has built one of the most unique cross-cultural careers in Asian music: both as the leader of GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE, one of Japan’s biggest J-Pop groups, and as a solo DJ on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list. Shirahama was appointed as a Philippines Tourism Ambassador in 2023, making his performance at &FRIENDS Festival one of the most culturally resonant bookings in the festival’s history.

Ian Asher is a Los Angeles-based DJ and producer whose polished blend of future bass and pop-leaning dance music has racked up hundreds of millions of streams and a collaboration with the “Kings of P-Pop” SB19. A familiar face on the international festival circuit, his return to Manila is a homecoming charged with meaning. Seduza is a US-based Filipino-Chinese DJ whose signature cat ears and fearlessly eclectic sets weave through trap, future bass, Jersey club, and house. Having graced stages from Coachella and Head in the Clouds to tours alongside Alesso, Steve Aoki, and Flosstradamus, she has built a distinct world around her brand that resonates as strongly on the dancefloor as it does in digital culture– channeling that influence into curating showcases that champion underground EDM’s next generation. Tye Turner rounds out the group as a Filipino-Australian DJ whose explosive stage presence and impeccable crowd-reading have made him a rising name on lineups across North America and Asia. Together, they represent a generation of Filipino artists no longer on the periphery of global dance music – they are at its center.

Other Filipinos added to the main stage are Marc Marasigan and L.A, together with international acts Ace Ramos, Afinity, Ami Mura, Arthur Tan, FAZAD, J, NGHTSHIFT b2b Jaidee b2b Dreamdriver — bringing the two-night Main Stage program to its final, stacked form.

With no shortage of Filipino talent standing at the helm, the 2026 &FRIENDS Festival is shaping up to be as much a celebration of the Philippines and its people as it is a jam-packed weekend of non-stop raving and electronic music appreciation.

Alongside the festival’s celebration of Filipino talent is a massive international roster flying into Manila from across the globe. New additions to the international line-up include headliner Adventure Club, the Grammy-nominated Canadian duo of Christian Srigley and Leighton James, whose remix of “Crave You” helped shape the sound of melodic dubstep and launched a career spanning mainstages at EDC, Ultra, and Bonnaroo– their &FRIENDS set marks their Philippines debut. Also making his first PH show is Aiobahn, a South Korean producer based between Seoul and Tokyo whose fusion of anime-inspired melodies, future bass, and hard-hitting production has earned him a devoted cult following via Monstercat and standout tracks like “INTERNET YAMERO.”Not to be forgotten are the other previously announced headliners of the festival, who are some of the most famous, enduring names in electronic music today.

Night 1 – Porter Robinson and Subtronics:
Porter Robinson, a fan favorite in the Philippines, returns to Manila fresh off his biggest-ever international tour for SMILE ! :D. The Grammy-nominated artist’s influence on EDM stretches back to his 2014 debut Worlds, which topped Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums. Joining him is Subtronics, the bass music titan behind the FIBONACCI album and Cyclops Recordings, who made his Coachella debut in April 2026 and in 2023 was named the highest-selling North American electronic touring act by Pollstar and DJ Mag North America’s DJ of the Year.

Night 2 – Galantis and Yellow Claw:
Closing out the weekend are two acts that have shaped electronic music over the last two decades. Galantis, led by Swedish hitmaker Christian “Bloodshy” Karlsson, boasts 7.3 billion streams, anthems like “Runaway (U & I)” and “No Money,” and a Grammy-winning co-write on Britney Spears’ “Toxic.” Yellow Claw, the Dutch duo of Jim Taihuttu and Nils Rondhuis, match that pedigree with over a billion plays and a genre-defying catalog spanning trap, dubstep, hardstyle, and moombahton — arriving fresh off their fifth album, Jesus Loves Trap Music, released on their own Barong Family label in February 2026.

Across three stages, two nights, and more than 60 artists, &FRIENDS festival continues to deliver on its founding promise: world-class production, a carefully curated mix of global headliners and regional talent, and the kind of unforgettable, communal energy that has made it the defining electronic music event in the Philippines.

Besides the Main Stage, the Club Stage is where the festival bleeds into something rawer, deeper, and more unpredictable. Running deep into the early morning hours, it is the beating underground heart of &FRIENDS. Bandit, BENCH, Buns b2b Senza, Honey Gee, Ian Sndrz, James Landino b2b Kino, Jecht, KDH, Kluster Flux, MARGACHI, NOTDEADYET, Sseda, Sunday Sundae, Xenith, bring a combined depth of sound and scene credibility that will keep the dancefloor locked in from first set to last light.

New for 2026, the Friendship Stage introduces a series of label and collective takeovers representing the best of Asia’s EDM community. Orange Juice Asia x Planet Workshop is set to open Day One with a joint takeover, followed by sets from CLOUDNYT, RAW and Restored Bass. Day Two sees takeovers from Hidden Nights, Contrast, and Sweet & Sour, and Midnight Rebels — each crew bringing its own curated roster of back-to-back and face-to-face DJ sets that embody the collaborative spirit at the core of the &FRIENDS brand. It is a stage built on community, and a reminder that the best music often comes from the people closest to the dancefloor.

Tickets for &FRIENDS Festival may be purchased on Ticketmelon and AirAsia’s MoveTix. Single Day passes are available at Php 5,800 for General Admission and at Php 9,800 for VIP. Two-Day passes are available at Php 9,000 for General Admission and Php 15,000 for VIP.
