One of today’s most dynamic singer-songwriters and producers, NIKI, has announced an additional date for her Buzz World Tour in Asia, produced by Live Nation.
Following the swift sell-out of 20,000 tickets for her first two shows at the Mall of Asia Arena in the Philippines, a third date has been added in response to overwhelming demand. The newly announced show will take place at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on 1st March 2025.
Tickets for the new date will go on sale starting 12th December 2024, with an exclusive artist pre-sale from 10am to 12pm local time, followed by general on-sale at 12pm local time.

NIKI’s third studio album, Buzz, released on August 9 via 88rising, captures the feeling of being on the precipice of discovery across thirteen introspective tracks. Award-winning Filipino band Ben&Ben has reached another milestone as they made it to New York’s Times Square, appearing in a billboard for Spotify.
This high-profile feature on the digital billboard is part of an initiative to promote their third studio album, The Traveller Across Dimensions. The campaign marks a significant step in expanding the band’s global presence, bringing their unique sound to new audiences worldwide.

Not a lot of people know that apart from being an award-winning actor, Kim Ji Soo is also a talented singer. The Korean star showcased his singing skills at the recent Musika Para sa Bikol: Himig ng Bayanihan, a benefit concert held in Legazpi City last December 6.
Rocking high-cut leather boots by internationally renowned footwear brand Palladium, plus stylish pieces from designer Iñigo Villegas, Ji Soo unleashed his inner rock star singing crowd favorites like Coldplay’s “Yellow” and The Calling’s “Wherever You Will Go.” He also had a duet with model and recording artist Bey; they sang the popular hit song “APT,” complete with choreography, much to the crowd’s delight.
The benefit concert, which also featured Gene Loves Jezebel, and Per Sorensen of Fra Lippo Lippi, was a fundraiser. Proceeds are going directly to typhoon relief and rehabilitation efforts in Albay. Pinoy Spotify users proudly championed homegrown hits, with Spotify RADAR artists dominating the top spots of this year’s Spotify Wrapped Philippines’ Top Songs. At the top is “Babaero”, a collaboration between gins&melodies and Hev Abi, followed by Maki’s heartfelt solo song “Dilaw” (#2), Dionela’s soulful masterpiece “sining” featuring Jay R (#3), Hev Abi’s hard-hitting “Walang Alam” (#4) and BINI’s vibrant P-Pop track “Pantropiko” rounding up the list at (#5), with the list giving a nod to the vibrant future of Filipino.

Filipinos also embraced the laugh-out-loud moments brought by local comedians, with The KoolPalsearning the title of Philippines’ Top Comedy Podcast of the Year. Comedy Manila is proud to announce the launch of its new homebase: Brick Wall BGC, a premier venue offering a curated, bone-tickling alternative to the usual nightlife offerings in Metro Manila.
Located in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Brick Wall has been renovated to create an intimate space and place for laughter and premium entertainment. The club has gone through a subtle update in interior design with better seating arrangement, improved acoustics, and lighting to create an optimal viewing and listening experience.
Patrons and newcomers can look forward to a diverse lineup, including observational humor, storytelling, and improv, performed by both local and international comedians.

During its official launch, Brick Wall BGC treated the audience and media guests to a headlining performance by award-winning Filipino standup comedian Rex Navarrete, who brought the house down with his compelling performance that cut across generations. Comedy Manila also gave attendees a taste of the diverse, high-energy comedy that will be a fixture at Brick Wall BGC.
More Than Just Stand-Up Comedy
While stand-up comedy will be at the core of Brick Wall BGC’s offerings, the venue will also host a variety of alternative entertainment options, including improv nights, comedy-themed trivia, live podcast recordings, and acoustic performances. This multi-format approach guarantees a dynamic environment for comedy fans and newcomers alike.
No comedy night is complete without great food and drinks, and Brick Wall doesn’t disappoint. The menu features a fusion of comfort food and signature dishes inspired by stand-up comedy. The South Korean star Jung Hae In is scheduled to make a comeback to the Philippines on December 21, 2024, at 6PM at the New Frontier Theater for the JUNG HAE IN “OUR TIME” FAN MEETING IN MANILA.
In the popular television show “Love Next Door,” the 36-year-old actor most recently portrayed a charming architect who had a complex connection with his neighbor.
With many people falling for Choi Seunghyo, Jung Hae In’s character, the drama is a huge hit in the nation and has continuously been in Netflix Philippines’ Top 10 Most Viewed series. It’s now time to get to know the man who created that memorable character.

Chen, soloist, and member of K-pop group EXO, concluded his Beyond the Door Fan-Con tour with an unforgettable night in Manila.
Held on November 23 at the New Frontier Theater, the sold-out event marked the final stop of his Asia tour, which began in Seoul and visited Taipei, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur.
No Stress
The evening was an intimate showcase of Chen’s vocal talent and warm personality. His understated entry set the tone: no grand announcements or fanfare—just a darkened stage and his heartfelt rendition of “Empty.” The stage, adorned with plants, wooden accents, and mellow lighting, created a cozy ambiance. He welcomed fans into this serene space, saying “You don’t have to be stressed here.”
This relaxed sentiment carried through the 14-song setlist. A video interlude offered fans a glimpse into his creative process, where he shared, “I want to create music that isn’t overwhelming but instead approaches you in a simple and pure way.” Known for his ability to channel raw emotion lyrically and vocally, Chen’s voice was both tender and powerful.
Chaos and Costumes: The “Chenllenge”
A highlight of the event was the delightfully chaotic “Chenllenge,” where he attempted to guess missing lyrics from songs by EXO and EXO members without knowing the titles. Despite his best efforts, he got none correct, leading to a series of hilarious costume changes including butterfly wings, a Cardcaptor Sakura outfit, a French fry suit, and finally, a flying squirrel onesie. In his last costume, he joked, “Audience on the second floor, just wait—I’ll fly to you.” He skipped guessing the lines to Baekhyun’s “Pineapple Slice” altogether and delivered an apology video instead.
His playful banter with the audience added a unique Filipino charm. As fans cheekily counted down his thinking time, he complained, “Bakit ganyan kayo sakin?” (“Why are you treating me like this?”), revealing that no other stop on the tour had done so. Recognized as part of EXO’s mischievous “beagle line,” Chen fully embraced the chaos, pleading, whining, and even nagging the translator to stop laughing in his ear—all in good fun.
He shared that before the show, the director approached him wishing they’d meet again with a smile now that the tour has ended. Chen quipped that, after all the costumes he had to wear, he wasn’t sure he’d be able to.
An Exchange of Light
Beyond the laughs, the evening displayed a deep bond between Chen and his fans. The photo area at the Fanzone featured a bench inspired by one Chen personally designed and crafted for the Seoul stop. Before the photo session, fans surprised Chen with a video showcasing how his music has become part of their daily lives. Touched, he responded, “I’m not someone who shines brightly, but someone who reflects your light to shine even brighter.”
Fans also transformed the theater into a glowing meadow using blinking dandelion lights during “Starlight”. Moved by the fan projects, Chen said, “I want to make these things (for you), but you made it for me. I see how you care for me and love me.” He acknowledges, “Even though it’s cliché, the voices of my fans are my greatest strength.”
An Open Door
Chen wrapped up with a double encore of iconic K-drama OSTs, “Best Luck” from It’s Okay, That’s Love and “Everytime” from Descendants of the Sun.
With no dancers, elaborate effects, or backup singers, Chen carried the entire show by himself. While his ballads were wistful, his humor and spontaneity made the evening equally lighthearted and sincere. Whether dressed as a magical anime girl or pouring his heart into a song, Chen reminded fans why they’ve stayed by his side—not just for his voice, but for the person behind it.
As the curtain fell, the night felt less like a farewell and more like a promise of brighter doors yet to open.

We’re thrilled to team up with Last Dinosaurs on the Alternate Version of Sense. We wanted to put a different spin on it, so we reimagined the story as this back-and-forth between two people. Bringing in Tagalog lyrics helped us put a personal stamp on the song. The language adds this melodic tone that just makes the emotions hit differently. We’re excited for everyone to hear it!
Oh, Flamingo!
Having just released their latest album ‘KYORYU’ earlier this year, Last Dinosaurs are treating their fans to more surprises – a re-release of their third album, ‘Yumeno Garden’, in vinyl format as well as a series of fresh renditions of fan-favorite tracks from the album featuring collaborations with talented musicians across Southeast Asia.
