GOT7’s Fan Meeting: The 7 Highlights
GOT7 held their first ever fan meeting in Manila, and it was one huge success. Thousands of iGOT7’s (what their fanbase is called) flocked the SMART Araneta Coliseum on the evening of November 14, to witness the group showcase their talents, charms and their sincerity towards their fans.
In the world of K-pop, fan meetings are, to put it simply, special. In Korea, they hold events like these mostly with official fan club members. It is the time for the group to not only showcase their best stages, but also to address their fans in a more personal manner. After all, who would understand the band better than their fans? So to speak, fan meetings come with a lot of perks. In GOT7’s case, there was indeed that personalized interaction that the fans hoped for. Selected iGOT7’s got to play games with the guys up close. There were also short yet interesting interview sessions during which the members showed off both their serious and wacky side. Sam Oh, who was the evening’s emcee, proved to be a good host as she translated the conversations well.

JTR Philippine Promo Tour
JTR Philippine Promo Tour on December 12, 2015, 6pm at SM City Fairview and on December 13, 2015, 4pm at SM Seaside City Cebu presented by Ivory Music & Video, Sony Music and SM Supermalls.
JTR is a Swedish boy band made up of three brothers – John Andreasson (aged 25), Tom Lundbäck (aged 22) and Robin Lundbäck (aged 21). The band’s name is made up of the first letters of their given names John, Tom and Robin. The brothers’ stepdad and mentor, Hayden Bell, is a renowned Sony Music A&R for the Asian region, and was also instrumental to the success of “You Ruin Me” hitmaker duo, The Veronicas.
JTR will be performing songs from their album “Touchdown (Asian Edition)” plus a few more surprise songs. CDs will be sold at the venue, with CD signing session to follow after each show.

The Infinite Effect Blazed through Manila
November 7, 2015 – Currently on their second bustling world tour, Infinite blazed through the Mall of Asia Arena, leaving behind a lingering effect to thousands of Inspirits (how their fans are called) and K-pop enthusiasts alike.
The boys of Infinite are no strangers to our shores. They have come here at least twice before this year – the first was during the Dream K-pop Fantasy Concert and then during their first world tour titled “One Great Step” which both happened in 2013. It is no wonder, therefore, how they easily exuded a sense of familiarity with thousands of Filipino Inspirits.

Bazooka Rocks 4: The Royal Rumble
On its fourth wave, Bazooka Rocks kicked off the final month of the year. Its theme, The Royal Rumble, could be felt throughout the venue: there were colorful banderitas, nacho stations adorned with sombrero platters, and Mexican wrestler inflatable dolls. Let’s not forget the Mariachi playing in the background!
Normally, royalty status is not something everyone can available of. This year, it was a special treat for all those who purchased a ticket. Everyone was treated like royalty at this year’s Bazooka Rocks. Concertgoers had access to the various booths and a few lucky fans were able to participate in guitar hero challenges and private dinners with their favorite musicians. That’s some major fan-musician interaction you can’t get anywhere else!
