    CONAN GRAY RELEASES NEW SINGLE “TELEPATH”

    Gen Z pop king Conan Gray shares his new single “Telepath” today.  The new single is co-written by Conan Gray alongside powerhouse collaborators, Julia Michaels [Justin Bieber, Gwen Stefani], Ilya [Ariana Grande, Jennifer Lopez], and Caroline Ailin [Dua Lipa].

    Conan will be kicking off “The Conan Gray World Tour 2022” next year, tickets are on-sale now here: www.conangray.com/tour.  The tour will start on March 1st in Dallas, TX at South Side Ballroom, and includes stops at the legendary Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on March 6th, and the iconic Radio City Music Hall in New York, NY on March 16th.  The North American leg concludes after six weeks at Mission Ballroom in Denver, CO on April 20th. The European leg launches on May 5th in Oslo, Norway at Sentrum Scene and traverses the continent for a month before closing out on June 9th at Eventim Apollo.     The new single follows “People Watching” which has amassed just shy of 85 million streams to date. Inspiring tastemaker applause NPR raved, “it’s incredibly validating to hear others share thoughts that you assumed no one else saw or felt,” and Clash Music hailed it as “potent” and “a bittersweet return that has electrified fans.”  Its predecessor “Astronomy” has tallied over 50 million-plus streams and counting. Not to mention, Taylor Swift took to her personal Instagram to praise the track saying: “This one is on another level!! Support/stream/buy this ethereal work of art. So much love & respect @conangray.” She went on to personally select Gray to tease upcoming music with Olivia Rodrigo. Meanwhile, Rodrigo handpicked him to appear in the “Sour Prom” music video.

    SING 2 RELEASES IN US THEATERS DECEMBER 22, 2021 

    New York, NY (November 9, 2021) — In advance of Sing 2, Illumination, Universal Pictures and Republic Records have joined forces with U2 to support nonprofit organization Education Through Music (ETM)—which provides music as a core subject for children in under-resourced schools across North America. As part of this partnership, ETM figures prominently in the music video for the first release from the Sing 2 Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, U2’s “Your Song Saved My Life”—out today.

    The engaging video was directed by Aya Tanimura and stars students and teachers from the ETM program. Voiceovers and subtitles tell their stories of finding support, strength and joy in music and underlines the importance of the organization’s mission to provide thousands of children in under-resourced schools across America with access to a high-quality music education.

    The Sing 2 Original Motion Picture Soundtrack releases Friday December 17, 2021. It accompanies the eagerly awaited new chapter in Illumination’s blockbuster animated franchise, Sing 2, which opens in US theaters on December 22, 2021.

    “Your Song Saved My Life” marks the first new music from U2 since 2019. Bono, lead singer of U2, makes his animated film debut in Sing 2 as the voice of Clay Calloway. The band are very familiar with creating original songs for film, having received two Academy Award nominations for Best Original Song among their many honors over the years.

    The soundtrack features three original works – U2’s “Your Song Saved My Life,” Sam i feat. Anitta, BIA & Jarina De Marco on “Suéltate,”, and a record from Adam Buxton with Fancy Feelings feat. DSCOSTU entitled “Tippy Toes”. The soundtrack also features a special Sing 2 Mix of the record “Soy Yo” by Bomba Estéro as well as a cover of “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” from Keke Palmer ft. Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton, Reese Witherspoon & Tori Kelly.

    The soundtrack also includes additional music from the film, including contributions from superstars Halsey, Pharrell Williams, Elton John and Billie Eilish, as well as performances by cast members Tori Kelly, Scarlett Johansson, Reese Witherspoon, Nick Kroll, Taron Egerton and more.

    Republic Records announces the release of the Licorice Pizza Original Motion Picture Soundtrack on November 26th. The album accompanies this year’s highly anticipated new film from eight-time Academy® Award-nominated writer and director Paul Thomas Anderson. United Artists Releasing is opening the film in select New York and Los Angeles Theaters Friday November 26, 2021 and across the country on Christmas Day December 25, 2021.

    The soundtrack will also be available on vinyl via a limited edition first pressing on December 10th with a special red vinyl available only at indie record stores.

    This girl is unstoppable. Yes! You heard it right! Fast rising electropop artist Lesha is moving towards a higher level. Finally, this generational pop personality decides to spread her wings and become the captain of her own ship. But in this case, her musical career by joining AWAL, a prestigious British music distribution company and take note one of the renowned label worldwide. Currently, AWAL houses the world’s biggest names in the music industry like Lauv, Finneas, BANKS, girl in red, deadmau5, Tom Misch, The Wombats, mxmtoon, and more! She’s excited to share with everyone the good news.

    “I chose to make the bold move of going fully independent again and teaming up with AWAL for my music distribution, because I felt it was the right thing to do,” Lesha enthuses.

    Let’s just say it was fate that has made a way for Lesha to navigate her path.     There’s another good news that Lesha wants to share. Lesha is debuting her next track entitled “Twin Flames”. Just like her previous songs, this one is a surefire hit as she got to collaborate with two International music icons– UK Singer-Songwriter Lewis Maxwell and Bahrain based producer Ghauri. As compared to Sun Moon Rising and Karma, Twin Flames is more of a danceable disco inspired track adding another flavor to her entire album.

    “‘Twin Flames’ speaks a lot to me when it comes to my perspective on love or relationships. As much as I hate to admit it, I enjoy the thrill of the running and chasing stage and this is the song that summarizes that entire feeling for me,” Lesha explains the meaning of the song.

    “The entire idea of a Twin Flame connection and how chaotic yet electric it is has always been very fascinating to me. I would read a bunch of articles about it just out of curiosity and I always wondered if I would ever find or come across my ‘Twin Flame’ but I guess that’s something I may or may not ever find out. I’m also happy that I got to work with two of the best international artists. Ghauri and I have been meaning to collaborate on a track for a while now so when he passed this track on to me I immediately got down to writing. A few weeks prior to writing this song I met Lewis and I fell in love with his voice. I just knew he’d be the perfect fit for this song so I hit him up and I was so glad he was down to work on the song with me,” she continues.

    Lesha’s collaborator, UK based singer/songwriter Lewis also shared his thoughts on creating Twin Flames virtually. “I absolutely loved doing this collaboration project. It was something I’ve never done before, you know the whole cross Atlantic ocean thing that we’re on other sides of the world. The songwriting process for me was weirdly, weirdly easy. And I say that because normally when I’m writing with someone I’ve never met before it’s awkward and like when you’re writing you kind of putting like a piece of you into the song, like you can’t be afraid to say things and deal with the person. But this was something new to me. For like the first 3 hours of the call, me and Lesha spoke just about everything and she’s just such a cool girl like we weirdly had so much in common. It looks like we’re so far apart but when in fact we’re not. We just wrote together and then things just happened like we didn’t really have to try too hard.”

    Things are becoming brighter for Lesha’s path. She has always believed that the best is yet to come and she’s looking forward to where the universe will take her next. She’s not in a hurry though as Lesha takes her sweet time cherishing every moment. Definitely, she is making a mark all throughout. Who knows where the tide will take her, but one thing is for sure. She’s moving towards fulfilling her dream of creating bigger than life experiences.

    BLASTER makes you want to just dance with “Disko Forever (Tagalog Version)”

    BLASTER’s catchy four-on-the-floor single “Disko Forever” first came out in Japanese. Now, listeners can hear this song with its original Tagalog lyrics. This version has just been released under Island Records Philippines on major streaming platforms. The single is inspired by the influential musical genre of the late 1970s, driven by BLASTER’s guitar work and distinct vocal style.

    BLASTER says that the song was really meant to be in Tagalog, and a friend translated it into Japanese for its initial release. When asked about this project, he commented, “Words [in translation] can change a lot in a song, so even though the words are just translated, it feels really different.” He says that the original lyrics feel more natural and flow more smoothly.

    The inspiration for “Disko Forever,” BLASTER says, was hearing a certain dance track on the radio. He then recorded and produced it in his home studio. As a result, he has created a track that still remains faithful to the music that inspired it, yet adding something new which will excite listeners. His work as a solo artist, much of which is still on its way to release, aims to balance sonic adventurousness and remarkable restraint. This new release is no exception.

    When asked whether this song is part of a bigger project, BLASTER said, “This is definitely a part of a bigger story.” We look forward to hearing more of this musical story. Until then, he wants us to listen to “Disko Forever” and just dance.

    No Rome Announces Debut Album ‘It’s All Smiles’ Released 3rd December on Dirty Hit

    ‘When She Comes Around’ is the first track to be revealed from No Rome’s highly anticipated debut album ‘It’s All Smiles’, set for release on 3rd December by Dirty Hit.

    Recorded in a small apartment in No Rome’s hometown of Manila after the pandemic prevented him returning to London, the album was co-produced by Rome with BJ Burton (Kanye West, Bon Iver, Charli XCX) and George Daniel (The 1975).

    In every sense of the phrase, ‘It’s All Smiles’ finds No Rome returning to his roots, both in terms of location and influences. As is immediately obvious from ‘When She Comes Around’, the record is the most refined expression of Rome’s self-coined term ‘Shoegaze R&B’. Vocal lines are indebted to the intense emotions expressed in R&B and run beautifully across highly textured production and instrumentation.  Like Kevin Shields, the architect of My Bloody Valentine, No Rome paints with his production, taking straight-forward guitar playing and complicating it with the tools at his disposal. 

    ‘When She Comes Around’ arrives with a dark, atmospheric video, filmed in Mania and directed by Paco Raterta that provides the perfect visual accompaniment to the track. Speaking about the single, Rome says;
    “I made this song after watching the Bjork live version of her album Vespertine and I wanted to make a song that was heavy on the strings but after days on working on it I eventually brought it to a more guitar driven song. I sent this song to BJ and he came back with something much more than I expected, with more textures and stronger bass sounds and just better structure really and we just went crazy on it.”

I feel like nature na yun ng tao na kahit paulit-ulit tayong nasasaktan, hindi tayonapapagod magmahal ulit. Even if mag give up na tayo sa love, once may mameet tayong personna we feel like there’s a chance na he/she might me the right one, we will still give it a chance kahit alam natin na we might get hurt again. The lovely miss comes clean with her feelings about loss and heartbreak: “When it comes to lovelife kasi, I’m the type of person na naexperience ko na ata almost all the “-ings” in love like ghosting, benching, haunting, etc… Pero I realized na ang bilis ko din maka move-on. So maybe I haven’t really been inlove talaga. Pero as a person kasi na haven’t had a deep relationship with someone sometimes naiisip ko na if it’s my fault? Hindi naman maiiwasan yun to think bakit walang relationship na nagppush through. Pero when you come to think of it maybe we need to experience these hardships and heartbreaks to prepare us para once we meet the right person we know how to value that relationship.     2021 was a year of breakthroughs for singer-songwriter, and producer Zack Tabudlo. His anthemic singles “Binibini” and “Nangangamba” dominated multiple local and international charts across major streaming platforms.

    After signing to Island Records Philippines/MCA Music in 2020, Zack emerged as one of the fastest rising OPM artists that we have seen in the last year – breaking records for streaming, digital sales, and airplay.

Everything is based on personal experiences, from heartbreak and love, from life to unfortunate events.”

    The whole album is Zack’s personal masterpiece. He was the sole writer, producer, and even mixed and mastered all 14 tracks. Zack’s growth as an artist is very evident in this album as he explored various musical styles in bringing these songs to life – ultimately creating his own sound with influences from pop, R&B, bedroom electronica, punk rock, ‘80s, and ‘90s alternative rock.
