    Tomorrow night at 8:30 PM, The Smashing Pumpkins will perform their very first show in Manila entitled The Smashing Pumpkins Oceania Global Tour at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Though a lot of fans are hailing the new album as a return to Pumpkins’ glory days, front man Billy Corgan begs to differ. “If we would put the same music as we did in the ‘90s, new generation might be lost,” says Billy.     American rap rock band Gym Class Heroes and Canadian singing sensation Nelly Furtado will give another heart stopping performance this August.

    Gym Class Heroes is an American rap rock band popular for their songs “Stereo Hearts”, which features Maroon 5’s Adam Levine as guest vocals and “The Fighter” featuring Ryan Tedder of One Republic. Recently they released a new album “The Papercut Chronicles II”. Frontman Travie McCoy was already known in the music industry, primarily through his work with Bruno Mars on the hit single “Billionaire”. This was done and produced during the band’s 3 year hiatus. Now entering the music scene once again, Gym Class Heroes, displays a versatility in writing music, showing off a variety of influences in their work. The band is immensely popularar in the club scene market. They are best known for their collaborations with notable artists of different genres.
