Basketball Country Year-round

On August 28 and 30, over 34,000 fans filled SM Mall of Asia Arena to support Gilas Pilipinas as the national team secured back-to-back victories against Iran and Jordan during the FIBA World Cup Asia Qualifiers Round 2, Window 4.
Dressed in blue and waving Philippine flags, fans turned the arena into a sea of national pride as they rallied behind the country’s top basketball stars.
The excitement continued with the Star Magic All-Star Games 2026 on August 23, where Star Magic artists faced actors from Thailand’s GMMTV. While Team Star Magic secured the win, the event also highlighted sportsmanship, camaraderie, and the shared energy of Filipino and Thai fans.
