Travellers International Hotel Group, Inc., owner and operator of Newport World Resorts, is expanding the role of its in-house production arm, Full House Theater Company (FHTC), as part of a broader investment in live entertainment. After more than a decade of staging the integrated resort’s theatrical productions, FHTC will now lead a wider slate of live entertainment experiences for audiences in the years ahead.
Following its original record-setting run in 2018, Ang Huling El Bimbo returned to Newport Performing Arts Theater in 2023 to renewed acclaim and sold-out performances.
Since its establishment in 2014, FHTC has been behind the Philippines’ most celebrated productions, including Ang Huling El Bimbo The Musical, Shrek The Musical, Bituing Walang Ningning, Buruguduystunstugudunstuy: Ang Parokya ni Edgar Musical, and Delia D.: A Musical Featuring the Songs of Jonathan Manalo, among others. These musicals helped establish Newport World Resorts as one of the country’s leading destinations for world-class entertainment. This next chapter is marked by the official launch of FHTC’s new logo and its website, www.fhtcentertainment.com.

Scenes from Bagets The Musical captured the story of friendship, first love, and growing up, set against a vibrant 1980s backdrop.
Beyond its stellar roster of in-house theatrical productions, FHTC is also expanding its collaborative work through strategic partnerships under Front Row Theatre Management, Inc., a premier performing arts and entertainment company of FHTC. This direction is already taking shape through its landmark partnership with VIVA Artists Agency, Inc., which successfully mounted Bagets The Musical earlier this yearand is now gearing up for its next major production, Bongga Ka, ‘Day: The Annie Batungbakal Musical, opening this September 2026.
As Newport World Resorts continues to strengthen its entertainment portfolio with local and international productions, FHTC is broadening its horizons beyond musical theater. Audiences can look forward to a vibrant, year-round calendar that includes concerts, straight plays, improv theater, and special events across the integrated resort.
