The powerhouse lineup of guests is led by Dingdong’s family, his wife Phenomenal Diva and Jukebox Queen of the 90’s Jessa Zaragoza, and singer-songwriter daughter Jayda Avanzado, plus other surprise performers.
“It’s been a while since I’ve been this excited! It’s a full concert. People are going to hear my repertoire. I’ll get to show why I’ve been dubbed the Prince of Pop,” said the singer behind the unforgettable “Tatlong Beinte Singko”, “Maghihintay sa ‘Yo”, “Wish I Could”, “Makapiling Ka Sana” and other timeless Pinoy ballads.
The concert draws from Dingdong’s vast library of hits, heartfelt vocal prowess and wonderful talent as a songwriter. Audiences will also be thrilled as Dingdong sings his most beloved songs with new arrangements by musical director Elmer Blancaflor. Concert director Jay Klio Bermudez will ensure that the entire show is a feast for the eyes and ears, and just befitting for the Original Prince of Pinoy Pop. Show time is at 8 pm.
Singer-songwriter Gel Aquino will release her deeply personal and moving single, “Kinakaya,” under GMA Music. The song, which taps into the experience of heartbreak and loss, draws inspiration from Aquino’s journey through grief and healing.
Aquino explains that “Kinakaya” is a tribute to those who have suffered the pain of being left behind by loved ones. “My inspiration is those who were hurt by love and those who were left behind by their loved ones. Those broken-hearted who experienced being left behind. ‘Yung mga kailangang bumitaw sa isang relasyon kaya ngayon kinakaya nila ang pag-mo-move on na wala na ang taong mahal nila. ‘Yun ang inspiration nito,” she shared.
The song was born during a particularly challenging time in Aquino’s life. “Sinulat ko ito noong time na active ako magsulat at mag-compose ng kanta. Noong time din na ‘to broken hearted ako and very depressed, pandemic noon tapos nawala na ‘yung lola ko. Hindi ko nalaman agad na nawala na pala siya, two months later ko na nalaman. So para din ito sa lola ko at sa mga taong nakaranas na iwan ng mahal nila,” she recalled.
The loss of her grandmother served as a significant catalyst for the song’s creation. “Independent ako and hindi ako masyadong nakikipag-communicate sa mga kamag-anak ko. Then nakita ko na lang nag-message sila na wala na ang lola ko. Kaya pala ‘nung mga buwan na ‘yun lagi kong napapanaginipan ang lola ko. Kaya nasulat ko ang kantang ito para sa lola ko na kinakaya ko ang sakit na wala na siya. Hindi man lang kami nagkita bago siya mamatay.”
Aquino hopes that “Kinakaya” will offer solace and strength to listeners facing their own struggles. “The message of the song is that we need to endure the pain that we feel from a person who left us. Kailangan natin ng time para makapag-heal and ‘wag tayong mawawalan ng pag-asa at isipin na itong pain na ito ay wala nang katapusan. Darating ang panahon na sasaya ka ulit at magiging mas malakas ka. You can transform yourself to be a better person then.”
“Kinakaya” will be available on digital platforms beginning May 26.

About Anne-Marie
Anne-Marie, whose unique, striking voice first hit the music radar when she guested on tracks by Rudimental and scored a number one hit as the main vocalist on Clean Bandit’s worldwide number one single, Rockabye. A former three-time world Karate champion, Anne-Marie’s self-effacing attitude and anthemic, highly personal songs about being cheated on, body issues and gender free love made an extraordinary connection with millions of fans. Her first solo album, Speak Your Mind – rammed with tracks to dance, laugh and cry to – was the biggest debut album of 2018 in the UK and it swiftly propelled her into a whole new level of celebrity – as a style icon, agony aunt and a woman fearless enough to tell the truth through exceptional tunes.
With no connections in the music business, and no appearance on reality television, the girl who cut her teeth in small West End roles and performing with a soul covers band in her hometown of East Tilbury, Essex, Anne-Marie – whose fans include Ed Sheeran and Marshmello – admits nothing had prepared her for the onslaught of fame.
Anne-Marie’s worldwide appeal is nothing short of monumental. A world-class vocalist who has five UK Top 10’s under her wings, her unfiltered, honest approach has seen her resonate with fans across the world ever since she entered the music scene in 2015. She’s one of those rare breeds of artist that’s so relatable, her music makes you feel like you’re conversing with your best mate, especially in relationship drama: “We all go through heartbreak at some point and it’s important to talk about it. Recognise a bad relationship but also recognize that these feelings of heartbreak don’t last forever and that you’re not alone in what you go through.”

Set to the uplifting tune of Ben&Ben’s hit song “Araw-Araw,” the video follows the award-winning band members as they explore the various corners of the mall while experiencing love, joy, and happiness every day within the familiar comforts of #OurFavoritePlace.
From indulging in delicious meals to hitting the shops for retail therapy, the campaign highlights the diverse offerings that make Robinsons Malls the perfect place to create memorable everyday moments. Robinsons Galleria is currently the homebase of Liwanag House, where the nine-piece act plans to hold special activities and personalized experiences for their fanbase, as well as provide special launches for exclusive releases and limited-edition merch. Ben&Ben also wants Liwanag House to be a place for community-driven gatherings where everyone feels heard, valued, and welcomed.
Ben&Ben recently serenaded the music fans with a jam-packed concert at the atrium of Robinsons Galleria on Saturday, May 18, 2024. The band performed some of their most notable chart-topping smashes, including the now-viral “Sa Susunod Na Habang Buhay” and their new single “COMETS,” which dropped a few days ago on all digital music platforms.
The horns were up when Arch Enemy’s Deceivers Asia Tour 2024 was here in Manila and led the metal fans in their usual exploration of introspective intense music and treated the fans to an electrifying performance.
The Swedish-based death metal band was on the stage at SM North Skydome last May 15, 2024, presented by PULP Live World, coming back to the country after Summer Slam 12: The Apostles in 2012.
Arch Enemy delivered a masterclass in metal, showcasing their technical prowess and tight musicianship. Engaging with the audience between songs, vocalist Alissa White-Gluz fostered a sense of camaraderie, igniting an electric atmosphere that reverberated throughout the venue with guitarists Michael Amott and Jeff Loomis, bassist Sharlee D’Angelo, and drummer Daniel Erlandsson.
“Thank you for the warm welcome Manila!” Alissa said, noting it was her first time performing in the country since taking over as Arch Enemy’s vocalist. She stood out with her dynamic stage presence, her blue hair flying as she headbanged in sync with the relentless energy of the music. Her commanding presence added extra intensity to an already unforgettable performance. Against a backdrop of pulsating lights and dynamic visuals, Arch Enemy unleashed a setlist of fan favorites, including iconic tracks like “Nemesis,” “War Eternal,” and “The Eagle Flies Alone,” each song met with thunderous applause and fervent enthusiasm.
As the band took command of the stage, the Filipino crowd erupted into a frenzy of headbanging and occasional mosh pits, particularly during the intense rhythm of “Handshake with Hell.” Feeding off the raw intensity of the music, fans engaged in this adrenaline-fueled tradition, further amplifying the energy of the night. While it may look like an aggressive form of musical expression, it’s always been noted that these mosh pits have always been done tastefully, as the fans respect each other and the people who join in. They pick up if someone falls, they carry the ones who want to be thrown around, and they don’t force anyone who doesn’t want to join.
As the night reached its peak, the band delivered an encore that left the audience clamoring for more, cementing their status as metal icons. They also promised their fans that they would come back to the country soon and commended how loud and enthusiastic the fans were, as the usual dose of the Filipino concert crowd. As they wrapped the night, Arch Enemy again proved why they are revered as one of the most formidable forces in modern metal, as the energy did not waver throughout the evening. Long live death metal.

All roads led to Albay from May 3 to 5 as fans from all over the Philippines arrived in droves to witness and, in many cases, participate in THE BICOL LOCO FESTIVAL.
A diverse crowd of over 500,000 attendees from the Bicol Region and beyond came to enjoy everything the three-day event offered—hot-air balloons, aerobatics, skydiving events, drone shows, concerts, and raffles.
The festive atmosphere prompted BICOL LOCO organizers to seriously consider making the festival an annual event. The ultimate dream is to extend beyond once a year and be year- round, similar to the hot-air balloon experience in Cappadocia, Turkey, which attracts tourists worldwide.
An exhilarating blend of adventure and music, THE BICOL LOCO FESTIVAL is filled with a plethora of memorable events that it wasn’t easy to recall a single moment since the whole festival is designed to have general mass appeal and make everything a highlight. The hot-air balloons framed against the magnificent Mayon Volcano sparked adventure and childlike wonder. The top performances of Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo, Jericho Rosales, and Ely Buendia electrified the crowd and transformed the concerts into mass sing-alongs.
As the event host, Robi Domingo was also well-received by the appreciative audience.
During the first concert night, the polished performances as individuals and as a duet brought the house down. Apl.de.ap’s surprise appearance was also a welcome treat. Apl’s impromptu jamming with Bamboo and Sarah G. had the crowd rapping along ‘Filipino, Filipino.’ The scene was like a reunion of The Voice judges.
And then there’s Bicol native Jericho Rosales, who brought pride among Bicolanos. When he declared his unabashed love for the region and its people due to his Bicolano roots, the crowd went wild.
Jericho headlined the second night along with Ely Buendia, evoking waves of nostalgia, with the audience enthusiastically singing along to his popular hits.
The festival’s raffle also brought tears to many eyes, especially the heart-rending stories of four grand prize winners who each won a house and lot unit worth P1.5 million.
Did THE BICOL LOCO FESTIVAL succeed in promoting the Bicol province, its tourism, and its culture? The answer is a resounding YES! The tremendous response undoubtedly placed the region on the global tourism map.
For festival organizers, BICOL LOCO achieved more than simply promoting a destination; it showcased the region’s natural beauty, vibrant local communities, and rich culture and history.
The social media exposure served as a virtual gateway for potential visitors, immersing them in Bicol’s beauty and promising travel experiences. In his message to fellow Bicolanos, Ako Bicol party-list Rep. Zaldy Co said the enthusiasm of attendees turned the inaugural BICOL LOCO festival into a remarkable celebration of unity for everyone in the entire Bicol region.
“Remember that Bicol Loco is also an opportunity to create jobs and livelihood among our people. Let’s approach the future with the spirit of adventure that the festival evokes—bright and colorful, festive and musical,” he concluded.
About the Bicol Region
As one of the most vibrant regions in the Philippines, Bicol is known for its distinctive culture, natural beauty, and culinary delights. Located in the southeastern part of Luzon, it consists of six provinces: Albay, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Masbate, and Sorsogon.
The region has a rich cultural heritage, with festivities like the Magayon Festival in Albay, celebrating the legend of Mayon Volcano, and the Peñafrancia Fiesta in Naga City, one of the largest Marian festivals in Asia that draws pilgrims and tourists alike.
Bicol is also known for its Bicolano cuisine distinguished by its generous use of chili and coconut milk, making dishes distinctively spicy and creamy particularly in popular dishes like “Bicol Express,” a spicy pork stew, and “laing,” a dish made from taro leaves cooked in coconut milk.
The region’s varied terrain and rich marine biodiversity also make it a perfect destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers.
Award-winning global popstar Dua Lipa has finally released her third album Radical Optimism, and it’s been getting critical acclaim ever since. Now, Filipino fans can enjoy the album on a whole new level this coming weekend with an interactive Radical Optimism Pop-Up happening at the Glorietta Activity Center.
A Dance-inducing Masterpiece
Radical Optimism makes it known early on just what type of album it is with the addicting “End Of An Era,” high-energy “Training Season,” and euphoric, club-ready “Houdini.” With this album, fans get eleven songs that can bring out anyone’s urge to groove and get lost in the music.
Dua herself describes Radical Optimism as “psychedelic pop,” noting that “there are musical breaks and a mix of different sounds, and when you listen to it with your eyes closed, it opens up a very visual world.”
The album was inspired by Dua’s own self-discovery and speaks to the pure joy and happiness of having clarity in situations that once seemed impossible to face. It’s a musical representation of how hard goodbyes and vulnerable beginnings can become milestones once you choose to see the brighter side of things. “It struck me – the idea of going through chaos gracefully and feeling like you can weather any storm,” she shared.
Rolling Stone has called this album “pop bliss,” while highlighting how it’s “uniquely and
utterly Dua Lipa: confident dance pop full of witty Instagram-caption-ready one-liners.”
Dua also recently returned to Saturday Night Live, where she was both the host and the musical guest for the night. She gave an electrifying version of “Illusion,” followed by a passionate performance of “Happy For You.”
An Experiential Pop-Up
Can’t get enough of the album? Experience it like never before with this week’s Radical Optimism event. This unique and immersive pop-up is set to bring all of Dua’s songs to life – to the point where dancing is the only option! Fans can go and see it for themselves when they visit the Glorietta Activity Center from May 17 to 19, anytime between 10 AM and 9 PM. They’ll be treated to themed photobooths, personalized memorabilia, and more!
Exciting things are happening for Dua, as she recently announced the first run of tour dates in support of Radical Optimism with shows in Berlin, Pula, and Nimes taking place in June. In addition, Dua will make her Pyramid Stage debut as the Friday night headliner at this year’s Glastonbury Festival on June 28th.
This pop powerhouse shows no signs of slowing down, and everyone’s excited to see even more performances and visuals for her new songs in the coming weeks.
Filipino-American singer-songwriter and producer Tim Atlas, who boldly blends elements of R&B, neo-soul, alternative, and bedroom pop, releases his new single “Stardust” off his upcoming debut album, ‘Enchanté’, slated for release on May 31 via Nettwerk.
“Stardust”, written and recorded during a trip to Los Angeles, balances ethereal keys atop a distinct beat.
His voice echoes, “Like stardust falling out in the sky, that’s what it feels like when you’re mine.” “Whenever I go back to Los Angeles, my music becomes a little more sunshiny and California poppy,” Tim admits. “It was a different interpretation. We took a psychedelic approach, and we were thinking about David Bowie.”
The forthcoming debut ‘Enchanté’, which includes previous releases “Le Soir”, and “Matinee” and some unheard gems, incorporates themes of love, insecurity, anxiety, trust, and more. Songs from the album have accumulated millions of streams, fueling anticipation among Tim’s loyal fanbase, with Asian countries comprising the majority of his top 20 streaming countries worldwide, including the Philippines at #2, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore.
“With every project I put out, I try to show a little more of myself. Enchanté is basically a reintroduction to me as a human and as an artist. For me, this record represents the different corners of my music that I haven’t showcased,” says Atlas.
This fall, Tim is set to hit the road again, this time opening for LA-based indie pop duo slenderbodies. On tour, Tim has supported artists such as Jungle Giants, Magic City Hippies, and Goldroom, while his avid fan base has helped him garner over 150 million streams to date.

People who have witnessed miracles in their lives say that miracles happen when you have faith and persevere. Alisah Bonaobra can attest to this, saying that her faith in God combined with her perseverance in being a singer (competing in many singing contests at an early age so that she can give the cash prizes she won to her parents, who are hardworking sidewalk vendors), are the reasons why she has received what she considers miracles in her life.
Today, Alisah is residing in America, doing several singing engagements in various US locations as well as other parts of the world, and has achieved numerous accomplishments. She is always thankful for these blessings. “Despite the difficulties I had to face in life, God is always by my side to shower me with miracles. I offer and always lift everything to HIM,” said the rising young talent of US-based RJA Productions, LLC.
Regarding miracles, the song “Do You Have A Miracle For Me” written by renowned songwriter Cecile Azarcon-Inocentes, which was interpreted by Alisah and released through RJA Productions, LLC, was hailed as “Inspirational Song Of The Year” at the recent 14th PMPC Star Awards for Music.
In an interview, Alisah said, “I was elated when my manager, Tita Rosabella, told me that we won an award at the 14th PMPC Star Awards for Music. I was unaware that ‘Do You Have A Miracle For Me’ was even nominated. Being a singer who was given the honor to interpret an inspirational song by esteemed composer Ms. Cecile Azarcon-Inocentes was already a blessing for me. And when the song that I interpreted was recognized by the PMPC, it was another blessing, which has given me more motivation to better myself and to always have a grateful disposition. I dedicate this award to all the amazing people behind ‘Do You Have A Miracle For Me’.”
The PMPC award is the latest addition to the accomplished singer’s various achievements.
Ever since she arrived in America, Alisah has performed in many singing engagements there. She was one of the guest performers of singing sensation Gigi Delana when she had a show in San Francisco, USA. Alisah was able to perform in other countries as well, the most recent was her performance at an event in Lamilux, Germany last year, June 24, and in Guam last February. She will also be releasing her new single entitled “Your Love” this month.
This June, Alisah along with fellow artist Bryan Termulo will have a Canada tour produced by RJA Productions, LLC called “Royalty of Melody” on the following dates: June 7 – Calgary, Alberta; June 8 – Grande Prairie, Alberta; June 28 – Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and June 29 – Dawson Creek, British Columbia. This coming July 20, she will have a concert called “Emerge” also produced by RJA Productions, LLC, this time with R&B Prince, Jay R, and other guest artists who are based in America. And on October this year, Alisah will be having a solo concert in San Francisco, USA.
With regard to her life in the US, Alisa shared, “Life abroad is really different from the Philippines. I’m still adjusting with the language and way of living since I just started living on my own. But every day, there are miracles happening and God continues to guide me and direct me to good people who can help me and who I can help as well. As preparation for my singing engagements, I make it a point to stay fit and healthy, and sleep on time. I do an hour of vocalization every day and at least two hours for vocal rehearsal of songs as well as studying new songs.”
“Aside from my singing career, I’ve been volunteering at the East Bay SPCA Feline Department. I’m part of the English Choir during Sunday at St. Raymond’s Church, and I also give voice lessons,” she added.
The hardworking artist of RJA Productions, LLC, ended the interview with a heartfelt message to her family, friends, and fans: “Thank you so much for always believing in me. Without your support, I will not be able to achieve the things that I have right now. Please continue to listen and share all my music in all digital platforms worldwide. Always take care and love you all!”
