Due to the increasing demand for “K-Content,” Netflix has announced a number of Korean films and television shows that will be added to the service in the coming months. The largest Netflix list ever includes 34 shows, including both returning favorites and brand-new originals that are likely to please viewers of all tastes.
More than 60% of all Netflix users streamed Korean titles in 2022, thus the rise in K-Content follows on the heels of its success on the platform that year.
“The global popularity of K-content has continued apace over 2022, with Netflix bringing a wider variety of stories and genres to fans around the world. Over the last year, Korean series and films have regularly featured in our Global Top 10 list in more than 90 countries, and three of Netflix’s most-watched shows ever are from Korea.
