For the past nine months, international artist, Christina Aguilera, has honored her Latin roots in the best possible way: composing, producing, performing, and sharing hit songs that are included in “LA FUERZA”, her first EP in Spanish in her last 20 years of career, and the second EP entitled “LA TORMENTA”, which was released yesterday on all digital platforms.
From “LA TORMENTA” comes “Suéltame”, a new and sensual collaboration with Argentine pop star TINI. The single, already available HERE, was composed by Aguilera, TINI, and Kat Dahlia along with producers Mauricio Rengifo, Andrés Torres, Rafa Arcaute, Federico Vindver, and co-produced by Afo Verde.
To top it all off, Christina decided to release “AGUILERA”, an album that includes all the songs that make up her EPs in Spanish “LA FUERZA” and “LA TORMENTA”, plus a new version of the spectacular ranchera “Cuando Me Dé La Gana” with Mexican singer Christian Nodal.
The surname album title, “AGUILERA”, is a direct way of honoring her Latina roots and family heritage which are the source of pride and inspiration much of her new music.
It should be noted that this new project, produced by renowned composers and producers Rafa Arcaute and Federico Vindver, includes stellar collaborations with international artists such as TINI, Ozuna, Becky G, Nicki Nicole and Nathy Peluso.
“AGUILERA” promises to delight Christina’s fans, since she manages to fuse different Latin musical genres without losing that essence that has made her one of the most important and respected artists of her generation.
British multi-platinum singer-songwriter Calum Scott’s sublime new single “Heaven” has been refreshed with a spanking new Southeast Asian twist. Acclaimed pop artists in the region hailing from Philippines (Darren Espanto), Malaysia (Diana Danielle), Vietnam (Hoàng Duyên) & Indonesia (Lyodra), reimagines Calum’s latest soulful ballad with their own distinctive touch, yet keeping to the essence of the track at its core. Scheduled for release on 9th June 2022, the 4 forthcoming collaborative singles captures the ethereal feeling of falling in love into the concept of an unimaginable paradise, a universal feeling that certainly transcends boundaries.
Featuring some of the most prominent stars in the region from Darren Espanto, one of the Philippines’ most successful male pop artists in the last decade, to Lyodra, the winner of Indonesian Idol 2020 and a household name known for her vocal prowess, to Diana Danielle, a multi-hyphenate withan impressive social following of more than 6 million and Hoàng Duyên, recognized asone of Vietnam’s most promising rising artists.
Some words from the artists on the special project:
Calum Scott: I am so excited to be working with these incredible artists from Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam! I have always had a special place in my heart for Asia so to sing with local talent from across the region is a real honour. Each of these artists have brought something new to our collaboration of “Heaven” and I can’t wait for everyone to hear them.
Diana Danielle: It was a very exciting experience being able to collaborate with Calum on “Heaven”. Being able to work on a beautiful song with an artist of his calibre whilst being chosen to represent Malaysia is an experience I’ll always hold dearly to.
Darren Espanto: I’m really excited about the collab. I’ve been listening to Calum since he officially released “Dancing On My Own” after his Britain’s Got Talent journey. One of my favourite songs to sing to is “You Are The Reason”. Now, I have the opportunity to collaborate with him on his song and showcase the track with other artists across Southeast Asia. I hope to perform this track with Calum live on stage someday soon!
Hoàng Duyên: Personally, I really love listening to such healing songs, they are like the chicken soup for the soul. “Heaven” sounds exactly like its name. The song is filled with positive energy. This is such a precious opportunity for a young artist like me. Both Calum and I have worked on this project wholeheartedly. We cannot wait to share this song with you. Hope you will love this duet from us!
Lyodra: I’m so excited about this project. I hope the fans will love this song and our collaboration. I hope Calum and I will be able to meet up in person soon & hopefully perform this duet together live. I want to thank Calum for giving me the chance to sing with him, it’s a real honour for me.
The triumphant and timeless ballad reveals Calum’s gift for finding unexpected ways to express universal emotions. “As songwriters, we’re always searching for new ways of saying ‘I miss you’ or ‘I love you’ or ‘I want you back,’” says Calum, who co-wrote “Heaven” with Hayley Warner (an Australian singer/songwriter who’s also penned songs for artists like Katy Perry and Tori Kelly). “‘The concept of ‘Heaven’ is the love between two people being so powerful that it is far superior to anything else, any other form of paradise that could be offered. I loved the idea of putting the power into the relationship.” Threaded with lyrics that offer a certain poetic wisdom, “What good is life if we’re all just waiting to dance in the sky?”, the result is a breathtaking tribute to living in the moment by fully surrendering to love.
Each track will be released alongside an official music video premiere on 9th June 2022 at

Breakout UK electronic duo Duke & Jones have unveiled the official single release of ‘Jiggle Jiggle’, their viral collaboration with Louis Theroux, out 13th May.
Currently the biggest song on TikTok (over 100,000 daily creations and 4.8 million overall TikToks and over 50 million views on the original video), ‘Jiggle Jiggle’ sees Duke & Jones carve an infectious remix around a snippet of Theroux’s rap which was born on an episode of his celebrated Weird Weekends series and reprised more recently on Amelia Dimoldenberg’s Chicken Shop Date.
After being picked up and danced to by all sorts of celebrities, including Snoop Dogg & Lizzo, the success of the track has now transcended TikTok, and Duke & Jones’ YouTube upload of it currently sits at over 4 million streams. ‘Jiggle Jiggle’ has also picked up significant press coverage, including from the Daily Mail, LA Timesand British GQ.
Duke & Jones are quickly establishing themselves as one of the most forward-thinking independent acts in the industry. Carving a reputation as ‘producer’s producers’ they continue to prove that true talent doesn’t need a record label or huge co-sign to make waves – instead, they let the music speak for itself. Their unique sound has helped them garner millions of global listeners – including a loyal TikTok following who are hooked to their hilarious autotune videos – and support from some of the biggest artists in the world.
Best known as the presenter of genre-defining documentaries for the BBC as well as the award-winning feature My Scientology Movie, Louis Theroux is one of television’s best known faces. In a career spanning 25 years this is his first, rather unexpected, detour into the recording studio.
One of the biggest things on the internet right now, the official release of ‘Jiggle Jiggle’ is destined to propel the track to new heights.

K-pop Stage-breakers SEVENTEEN unwaveringly march forth with 4th album Face the Sun
A manifestation of SEVENTEEN’s fortitude in relentlessly looking up, fueled by unstoppable passion
Quintessential embodiment of the leading K-pop act’s high-caliber performances and fiercely independent spirit
After announcing to the world the beginning of a new era with their first English single “Darl+ing,” K-pop Stage-breakers SEVENTEEN resolutely venture forth towards new heights and uncharted paths with their 4th studio album Face the Sun.
SEVENTEEN shared a glimpse into the album through a series of 13 trailers titled ’13 inner shadows’ leading up to the release, with each episode presenting an eerie depiction of the 13 members’ debilitating fears. Admitting to these fears through the trailers, SEVENTEEN deftly move past their inner shadows, turn all self-doubt into aspirations for what lies ahead, and embark on a new journey to Face the Sun.
# Face the Sun- A manifesto of SEVENTEEN’s ambitions yet to be fulfilled
Face the Sun is an album that transparently captures SEVENTEEN’s ambition to become a force that resembles the Sun – a one of a kind being with unswerving influence. The album tracks the 13-piece act as they navigate their own path, determined not to be hindered by fears and the adversity ahead.
As with many of the band’s previous hits, SEVENTEEN’s Vocal unit leader WOOZI co-wrote all of the 9 tracks that complete the album. Members including S.COUPS, HOSHI, WONWOO, MINGYU, VERNON and DINO also participated in composition and penning the lyrics, together building an album imbued with SEVENTEEN’s thoughts, emotions and dedication to their artistry.
# From a fear to a dream, from ‘I’ to ‘us’ … 9 powerhouse tracks for those that venture forth
The K-pop Stage-breakers’ 4th studio album Face the Sun ultimately resonates with the cathartic release of making the courageous choice to confront your inner shadows. It takes listeners from the moment of facing your deepest fear, through the grand dreams that emerge in overcoming these fears, and finally to the idea of ‘us’ coming together to move past the weight of our fears and face a new world.
As an album that reflects the team of 13 diverse creatives’ honest ruminations and sets a kinetic tone to what lies ahead, Face the Sun will relay a message of courage and solidarity – an encouragement to SEVENTEEN themselves and their listeners around the world, to not only face but now reach the Sun as ‘TEAM SEVENTEEN.’

Composed by WOOZI, BUMZU, DINO, Johan Fransson, Ryan Lawrie, Matt Thomson, Max Lynedoch Graham, Gabriel Brandes / Lyrics by WOOZI, BUMZU, DINO

With vocals complemented by heavy autotune, “Ash” paints a picture of SEVENTEEN setting all boundaries and restrictions on fire so as to leave nothing but ashes behind. The trap hip-hop track reflects the band’s fierce passion to pave their own way while breaking free from the bounds of all limitations.
About SEVENTEEN
Racking up 2 billion streams and selling 10 million albums, SEVENTEEN—comprised of S.COUPS, JEONGHAN, JOSHUA, JUN, HOSHI, WONWOO, WOOZI, THE 8, MINGYU, DK, SEUNGKWAN, VERNON and DINO—has rocketed to the forefront of the music scene fueled by a fiercely independent spirit and a nonpareil in-house creative ecosystem. The group’s innovative structure hinges on the interplay of three units: hip-hop, vocal, and performance. Living up to the title of “K-pop Stage-breakers,” SEVENTEEN have unassumingly made history and become one of the biggest groups ever due to their world-class synchronization, jaw-dropping choreography, and tight teamwork. Moving at an unparalleled pace, the K-pop stage-breakers made their U.S. television debut on The Late Late Show with James Corden in January 2021 and followed it with unforgettable performances on The Kelly Clarkson Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and MTV’s Fresh Out Live. SEVENTEEN’s latest EP Attacca debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart and No. 13 on the Billboard 200. It sold over 1.3 million copies in the first week of release, earning the K-pop superstars the “quintuple million seller” title as it joins their last four consecutive releases—AnOde,Heng:garæand ;[Semicolon],YourChoice—in selling over 1 million copies each.
The amazing U.S. debut comes hot on the heels of Harry’s massive international success where the album has entered charts at #1 in over 17 countries, earning the biggest selling album of the year in the U.K. and landing #1 in Canada, Germany, France, Australia, Netherlands, Italy, Ireland, Sweden, New Zealand, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Norway, Finland, Spain, and Denmark.
Harry has also accomplished rare chart doubles in multiple countries as both Harry’s House and “As It Was” have simultaneously topped the album and singles charts in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Germany, Australia, Netherlands, Italy, Ireland, New Zealand, Switzerland, and Belgium.
In the U.S. “As It Was” returns to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for a fourth week and Harry debuts three additional songs in the Top 10 (“Late Night Talking,” “Music For A Sushi Restaurant,” and “Matilda”), with the full album charting in the top 30. Styles joins The Beatles, who achieved the feat for five weeks in 1964, as the only British acts ever with four concurrent Hot 100 Top 10’s.
Further, Harry is only the third-ever artist to occupy the entire Top 3 of the U.K. singles chart as the lead single “As It Was” remains at #1, notching up an eighth week to make it the longest-running chart-topper of the year. The rest of the U.K. Top 3 is rounded out with “Late Night Talking” and “Music for a Sushi Restaurant.” In Australia, Harry dominates the ARIA singles charts with all 13 tracks from the new album in the Top 15, a new record. He also becomes the first artist in ARIA chart history to simultaneously hold the Top 4 songs and breaks the record for the most Top 10 hits with 8 currently in the Top 10. “As It Was” remains the biggest song in the world logging an eighth week at #1 on the Billboard Global 200 chart, extending its reign as 2022’s longest running single and earns the most weeks at #1 for a British artist in chart history.
Harry’s House also breaks a modern-era record for single-week vinyl album sales in its first 3 days of release, selling 182k copies in the U.S. for the week, the biggest sales week for an album on vinyl since Luminate began tracking music sales in 1991, beating the previous high of 114k set last year by Taylor Swift’s RED. In the U.K., the vinyl sold 36k, becoming the best-selling vinyl of the century, beating ABBA’s previous record of 29k. The album also outsold the rest of the Top 40 U.K. combined vinyl album chart this week, earning the fastest selling album of 2022 so far, earning gold certification in a week. In Australia, he claims the biggest sales in one week since the start of the Vinyl Albums chart in 2019, overtaking Tame Impala’s The Slow Rush.
Harry celebrated the album release with a special ‘ONE NIGHT ONLY IN NEW YORK’ live show at UBS arena in New York performing the new album for the first time ever. Relive the concert with the ‘Apple Music Live: Harry Styles’ stream on Apple Music HERE. Begin Again: K-Pop Edition makes up for the last three years of no K-Pop concerts with an unforgettable showcase of performances from Korea’s top idols and the unwavering love of Pinoy K-Pop fans.
Coming back to the Smart Araneta Coliseum after more than two years since the CoViD-19 pandemic was declared by the World Health Organization seems surreal, but the energy of Pinoy K-Pop fans told us otherwise. They are ready to fill arenas again. They are all set to Begin Again— lightsticks in hand, banners ready, and loud cheers waiting to be heard.
And CDM Entertainment made sure that the wait is most definitely worth it. A new beginning unfolded last May 29 at The Big Dome with Begin Again: K-Pop Edition, featuring SHINee’s Key, NCT DREAM, WEi, and ALICE.
ALICE gift Filipino K-Pop fans with an unforgettable summer dream
ALICE kicked off the concert with “This Is Me”, a track from their fourth extended play Jackpot which was released in 2020. EJ, Do-A , Chaejeong, Yeonje, Yukyung, Sohee, and Karin did not only charm the crowd with their refreshing vocals and lively dances but they also got the Philippines falling for their sweet greetings for their local fans. The girls relayed their happiness to have had the chance to return to the country and bring new members EJ and Chaejeong.
But the girls were only starting. Bringing the energy higher, they took the crowd back to their debut days with their debut song “We, First” from the mini-album of the same title which they followed with “Summer Dream”, the title track of their extended play of the same name.
ALICE definitely had a lot in store for the fans as they also gamely played the pirate game on stage and faced the penalties that came from losing the game, including doing a random play dance and saying cute and sexy versions of “I love you”. Love was felt even more in the air with the girl group’s performance of “Power of Love”, their latest digital single. After showcasing their dream-like vocals in “Power of Love”, they gave an all-out performance of “No Big Deal”.
Before closing their stage with “Jackpot”, EJ, Do-A , Chaejeong, Yeonje, Yukyung, Sohee, and Karin promised to come back to the Philippines and shared their plans of releasing a new mini-album soon.
WEi say hello to PH RUi for the first time thru Begin Again concert
Firing up the concert stage next, WEi made their highly-awaited debut on the Philippine concert stage in Begin Again, opening their stage with their debut song “Twilight” from their first mini-album Identity: First Sight. Daehyeon, Donghan, Yongha, Yohan, Seokhwa, and Junseo expressed their thanks to the Pinoy fans for welcoming them with thunderous cheers, relaying that, due to the CoViD-19 pandemic, concertgoers in South Korea were not allowed to cheer when they had their concert in their homeland.
There was no stopping the boys from giving their all as they showcased a strong performance of “All or Nothing”, before taking a break with a crocodile game. Junseo was the crocodile’s favorite, having to do two punishments in a row which include a random play dance (with all the members joining their maknae) and saying “I miss you” in a cute manner (with leader Daehyeon giving his shot of the punishment too!).
WEi then treated RUi with “Bye Bye Bye” and “Super Bumpy” from their Identity: Action and Love Pt.1: First Love albums, respectively. After giving out their ending meant which is also filled with smiles and promises of meeting Filipino fans again, the boy group ended their stage with their latest song “Too Bad” from Love Pt.1: First Love.
Hello, Future? We want more NCT DREAM in Manila.
NCT DREAM held the last K-Pop concert in the Philippines before the world stood still because of the pandemic. More than two years after, Renjun, Jeno, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung were part of the line-up of the first K-Pop concert in Manila.
In the midst of the preparation for the release of the repackage of their second studio album Beatbox, the boys kept the promise back in 2019 to return to the Philippine concert stage, bringing their latest tracks and being welcomed with the unwavering love of NCTzens.
NCT DREAM opened their Begin Again stage with “Hot Sauce”, their first studio album which was released in 2021 and sold more than a million copies on the first week of its release. The boys then greeted their fans amidst the thunderous cheers that filled The Big Dome.
The boy group reciprocated the warm welcome of PH NCTzens with a special stage of “Dive Into You”. The performance marked the first time they performed the song overseas. Following “Dive Into You”, they treated the crowd with “Hello Future”, earning loud cheers from fans who also sang along.
NCT DREAM closed their stage with “Glitch Mode”, the title track of their second studio album of the same name. The album recorded more than two million copies sold in its first week. Glitch Mode broke the personal record of the boy group they previously set with Hot Sauce.
The boys said their goodbyes with hopeful words of coming back to the country for another concert.
The Almighty Key shines bright in Begin Again
No one does it like Key and that Sunday night was proof that the SHINee member definitely deserves the title “Almighty Key”. The multi-talented star opened his stage with “Saturday Night” from his 2021 extended play Bad Love.
He then shared that his members wanted to come to the Philippines too, adding that they are envious of him for being able to come back to the country and the group’s desire to perform again in the Philippines. SHINee last visited the country for a concert in 2017. Begin Again also marked Key’s first performance as a solo artist here.
— Philippine Concerts (@philconcerts) May 29, 2022
Nonetheless, Key shone brightly on every stage as he delivered exceptional performances of his solo songs “Helium”, “This Life”, and “Bad Love”. He also entertained fans’ requests for SHINee songs that brought everyone back to where it all started — “Replay” and “Ring Ding Dong”. The singer even joked that he was not expecting such throwback requests.
Still, with Key as the final performer of the night, Begin Again ended with the biggest blast for all fans and a hopeful spirit that the concert energy is coming back — slowly but surely. The night wrapped up with good memories of the evening that saw us return to The Big Dome. It was a night when we heard the loud cheers of the crowd once again and saw lightsticks color the arena once more.
Begin Again: K-Pop Edition was presented by CDM Entertainment, in partnership with BRODYWORKS. Philippine Concerts would like to extend its gratitude to CDM Entertainment for the invitation to the event.
