    Filipino-Puerto Rican, Peter Gene Hernandez was born  on October 8, 1985, better known by his stage name Bruno Mars, is an American singer-songwriter and music producer. He is a seven-time Grammy nominee with 3 number 1 billboard hits including Nothin On You, Just The Way You Are and Grenade which is currently number 1 in Billboard Hot 100 making him the first lead male act in over 13 years to hit No. 1 on the Hot 100 with his first two charting radio singles from his debut album “Doo-Wops & Hooligans”.
