On April 28, 2012 – the biggest street party music tribute will be happening at the 9th avenue in Boni High St., Bonifacio Global City as we celebrate this year’s EARTH DAY JAM !

EARTH DAY JAM, the musical marathon for Mother Earth, on its 12th  year shows no signs of slowing down as it starts  at 6 PM, with guitar donning, drum beating music ambassadors of Mother Earth in various genres as diverse as world music, alternative, rock, reggae and acoustic. Kicking off the festivities are salsa-samba “El_Martinos” drumbeaters whose performance segues to the Philippines premier Brazilian-fusion artist Nyko Maca with band Gafeiera. These will pave the way for an exciting journey of various musical performances from folk guru Noel Cabangon with the reggae laced set from Peace Pipe, an internationally renowned group who has won several awards abroad including “Artist of the Year” for Zim Carib radio in New Zealand. The pop-rock set will be dominated by women-fronted bands Imago, and jazz pinoy soul quartet, Sino Sikat. The rock-alternative scene, on the other hand, will bring in major bands, Kjwan, Mayonnaise, Radio Active Sago Project with witty frontman Lourd DeVera  along with veteran artist-producer Lou Bonnevie. Camryn will team up with Greyson Chance on his upcoming arena tour, which kicks off April 17 in Malaysia.
This isn’t the first time Camryn and Greyson have joined forces. Last spring, the 5280 Media recording artist performed on every stop of Greyson’s Waiting For You concert tour, which also featured Cody Simpson. In fact, 2011 was a breakout year for Camryn: Her debut single “Wait and See” broke into Top 40 radio and its video received heavy airplay on both Nickelodeon and The N. The soundtrack for Judy Moody and the NOT Bummer Summer was comprised solely of Camryn’s music and she had a cameo in the movie. Perhaps most impressive is Camryn’s Facebook page, which currently totals over one million fans. “I’m really excited to perform in Asia, because so many of my Facebook fans live in the same countries I’ll be visiting,” she says. “It will also be great to tour with Greyson again. He is unbelievably talented, kind, and fun to be around.”

Camryn is currently in the midst of a cross-country middle school tour. Since its November launch, she’s performed for over 50,000 students and made countless television and radio appearances in support of her new single, “Set the Night On Fire.” She will also appear in the upcoming film Long Time Gone, alongside Academy Award winner Virginia Madsen and True Blood’s Sam Trammell.
