Manila, Philippines (October 12, 2017) – In response to immense fan demand, the xx, the UK’s beloved indie pop band, added additional cities, including Manila, to their Asian leg of the tour: The xx I See You Asia 2018. Presented by MyMusicTaste, The xx I See You Asia 2018 in Manila will take place at the World Trade Center in Manila on February 7th. The complete list of tour dates can be found below.

In support of their critically acclaimed third studio album, “I See You”, the British trio has been meeting fans around the world since February, kicking off the tour in mainland Europe. Manila has been added due to popular demand on, an online service that brings together music fans to request their favorite artist’s concert. As The xx’s second visit to Manila since 2013, the prodigious talents will once again invigorate the crowd with a thrilling live experience through their beloved classics.

Presale tickets for those who requested The xx’s show in Manila on MyMusicTaste will be available Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at 10AM before going on general sale from Friday, October 20, 2017, at 12PM.

About The xx:
The xx are Romy Madley Croft, Oliver Sim and Jamie Smith. The London based trio have released three hugely acclaimed albums to date – the Mercury Music Prize winning debut xx, Coexist and I See You. After playing sold out shows and headlining festivals around the world, including their own Night + Day festival events in Lisbon, Berlin and London, The xx rounded off the Coexist Tour with an intimate but much talked-about residency at New York’s Park Avenue Armory in March 2014. Since the release of Coexist, Jamie xx released his own debut solo album – 2015’s In Colour – which went on to become one of the year’s most critically and commercially successful electronic records.
