Miss Universe Philippines is about to become infinitely more exciting!

Exciting news has emerged as preparations for this year’s Miss Universe Philippines pageant have begun. Nam Woo Hyun will perform on May 13, 2023, at the pageant’s coronation night at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, according to the organizers.

Nam Woo Hyun is the first K-Pop performer to do so on the stage of Miss Universe Philippines. With years of singing and dancing experience under his belt, the singer is the perfect choice to help bring the pageant to even greater heights.

Moreover, the upcoming event will serve as a reunion between him and Inspirits after many years since his last visit to the country. Additionally, it will also mark the first time that he will take the Philippine concert stage as a solo artist.

Tickets for the pageant are still available via SM Tickets outlets nationwide and https://smtickets.com. Fans can choose from three different ticket tiers that come with fan benefits exclusive to “INSPIRIT” tiers. These benefits include group photo op, souvenir card, poster, and/or Cavaso merch.

Moreover, there will also be an “INSPIRIT” block seating so fans of Nam Woo Hyun can sit together during the event.

The King of Hearts: Get to Know Nam Woo Hyun!

Nam Woo Hyun made his debut as the main vocalist of the K-Pop boy group INFINITE in 2010. Known for their highly synchronized dancing and choreography and live vocals, the boy group became one of the most influential and well-known Korean acts of their generation.

In addition to his activities with INFINITE, Nam Woo Hyun embarked on solo activities, beginning his musical theater career in 2012 and making his acting debut in the same year with The Thousandth Man. He then took on his first lead role in Hi! School: Love On in 2014.

In 2016, Nam Woo Hyun officially debuted as a solo artist with the release of his extended play, Write… He actively participated in the creation of the EP, writing and composing half of the tracks in the album. The EP went on to place number one on Hanteo’s Weekly Albums Chart upon its release. As a solo artist, he came out with four EPs, including With which served as his first album after completing his mandatory military service.

Additionally, he teamed up with SHINee’s Key to form the duo ToHeart in 2014. The duo released their first mini album with the lead single, “Delicious”. They also performed “Tell Me Why” as a follow-up promotion upon the request of their fans.
