YouTube sensation Christina Grimmie wowed audiences on Season 6 of The Voice in the US. Just like Alex Goot, Against The Current and Sam Tsui, Grimmie started on YouTube to share her raw talent. Since uploading her videos in 2009, she now has over 2 million subscribers on her channel and included as one of most subscribed musicians on YouTube. Last February she shocked everyone, when NBC promoted the sixth season by using a clip of her blind audition, in which she performed Miley Cyrus’ Wrecking Ball. I can still remember she was the first person to sing in front of four coaches and I knew Grimmie would be a great contestant. She got four-chair turns from coaches Adam Levine – whom she picked, Shakira, Usher and Blake Shelton.

The 20-year old pop singer had a growth throughout the season. Her song choices and stage presence seemed to get better with each live performance. Adam Levine helped the singer make the most of her significant talent. The vocal skills and charisma she displayed with renditions of hits by Jason Mraz, Katy Perry, Elvis Presley, Drake, Miley Cyrus, and Little Wayne blew away judges and fans alike, and even put her on the top iTunes 100. Christina made it to the finale and finished the season at third place. Phenomenal talent who counts Justin Bieber and Adam Levine among her supporters, Christina Grimmie continues to amaze us with both covers and stunning originals like Liar Liar and Must Be Love.
